Mr Marius ( the host) was excellent providing us all the necessary information to make the most out of Sulina & Danube Delta , listening to his advice will save you money and time , see his recommendations for gastronomic places ( i have tried some restaurants but the gastronomic place which is a traditional kitchen operated by local host was THE BEST FOOD i ever had in Danube Delta , you just need to call and book in advance)
The Pool, breakfast with many choices , the clean rooms , very good air conditioning , plus Maya the dog made our stay very pleasant, will come back for sure, Sulina is a great historical place , highly recommended.

It was a very nice experience to spend some time on this very nice ship with its relaxing atmosphere and the very welcoming and warmhearted host. Besides the coffee on the deck in the morning and a lot of sweet cats (especally Coloumb), we spend some nice time with the uncomplicated host.
He also connected us to a friend of his with who we had some really nice tours through the Delta.

During our half month stay, everything was great. Newly renovated flat with amazing views over Sulina branch. Sunrises and sunsets are great durning summer days.
The host is very helpful bringing new towels and bedsheets as per our needs.
The beds are costly and we felt like home. I would definitely return it back in Sulina. The big supermarket, bakery, everything necessary is downstairs.

Sulina is one must-go-to place in the Danube delta not only...
Sulina is one must-go-to place in the Danube delta not only because its location on the Danube banks and a few kilometers from the Black sea, but because its position to the Letea forest reserve - which was an amazing surprise to me and my family. Not the forest per se, but the wild horses in the reserve vicinity. Once you get here (actually this is why we chose Sulina over other Danube delta villages) you should not lose the opportunity to buy this 6-7 hours trip on the Danube's channels AND to the Letea "hill" (which is not a hill at all, just a steppe). The trip to that place is full of beauty and surprises and a must-see once in a lifetime. Then, the history of this - unfortunately - "forgotten" small city is very interesting and if you are lucky to meet a good guide, you cannot but sip their every word. Oh, DO NOT skip the traditional lunch in a peasant's place, "in the middle of nowhere": nothing fancy at all, but the food was so tasty! And, as opposed to my group, maybe you don't miss the cemetery: as far as I heard, this is also a must-see.ianenacheRomania - 6.0Scored 6.0

An old town left to live its last days. This was my impression. We went there for its history, visited the cemetery which is one of the emblematic places from Sulina, we did multiple trips along the water, visited the beach which is excellent.

Danube Delta and sea in the same place. Just perfect. And the beach is better than in Black Sea southern resorts. For the next stay I would like a longer period (I stayed only 3 days), other fun trips with Captain Nemo and if possible all meals at local guests. Restaurants are very expensive and dull, they do not have anything related to the vibrant and tasty local food.AAndreeaRomania

All trips were booked through them and the boats would pick you up from the hotel and drop you off in the same place. It was close enough to the beach that you could walk the distance (15-20min). The room was small but very clean, the beds were comfortable and the AC worked great. We were also satisfied with the breakfast buffet, which had the usual spread you'd expect. Salina's main boardwalk is about a half hour walk, but the hotel has bikes to use for free. The bikes are a fun and great option.
