We booked this at the very last minute (we were 5 minutes away) and they were very accommodating. Location perfect if you are going from the train as we were.
The highlight was the staff they were so incredibly nice and helpful.
Also we were able to have drinks and a nice dinner, which made us happy to not have to leave the hotel for that after a long day

We’d like to return to La Strada. Now we are even thinking about a small future vacation in the area, based in Sebes.
First of all, on our arrival we found an impeccable and very well equipped apartment. Pleasant and calm accommodation with very convenient private parking. Friendly and quick communication with the host. Nice little touches awaited us in the fridge when we arrived.
And we really liked that the host asked us if we would like it to be warmer in the apartment!
It is now clear that this apartment exceeded our expectations.

Sebes is a pleasing blend of old and new.
Sebes is a pleasing blend of old and new.
The wood industry is the main employer and it is not without controversyy. There is a busy Green Party office in the centre.
On the positive side there is full employment which accentuates the underlying friendliness of a place I had visited before when times were not so easy.
On my first day I accidentally dropped a small piece of paper from my pocket while walking along the main street. This was spotted by a driver in slow-moving traffic who called out: 'sir you dropped something!'
The centre has some nice public buldings and churches and there is a very good restaurant called 'Crema Turm' where I ate twice and which is easy to spot.

Nice town..lots of interesting things everywhere but you...
Nice town..lots of interesting things everywhere but you need to spend time looking. Check out Mr Binders House and the birthplace of a guy named Carl Filtsch..he was a child prodigy of Chopin but died when he was only 14.
Around the corner is a list of local citizens sent off to the Romanian and Russian gulags..never to return.
And oddly enough if you are from Australia or from New Zealand there is a cafe in town that makes and sells Pavlova...

Located about 35 minutes from Sibiu, this place is extremelly relaxing. There are just a couples of room and house to rent, meaning that all guests know each other, and it give this impression of being in a small cocoon (at the difference of large hotel complex). The horses are there (many) the owner is a hard working man, always available and always trying to make everybody happy. My wife and I relaxed very well and are happy we choose this place for a long weekend vacation. The city center of sebes is about 8 minutes in car.
Location across the road from hypermarket. Not too far from the city center either (Sebeș is a small town anyway, so no place is far away).
Clean rooms.
Very good communication with the owner.
Breakfast and dinner were available at the location, and the Italian cook made us some nice meals, at a fair price.
Large yard, with sufficient parking spots available.
Very nice hotel in the center of Romania. A very nice place to stay if you cross the country or Transalpina DN67C. Room was pretty large, bathroom was clean. Excellent on site restaurant, delicious food. Free and secured parking on site, for cars and motorcycles. The owners and staff were very nice and helpful. We will come back!
The hotel was spotless clean! You wouldn't believe a hotel on the highway would look so gorgeous! Giving the location, the windows are of a good quality and there is no noise from outside! The breakfast is very good, diverse and delicious. Would definitely recommend for everyone visiting Sebes or just transiting.
My stay was everything I needed and more. The combination of convenience, comfort and exceptional service made it an excellent choice for my brief transit stay. Whether you're a weary traveler in need of a restful night's sleep or simply seeking a convenient stopover option, I highly recommend FAN Hotel Sebes.
Fantastic in every aspect! Gorgeous Kitchen fully equipped including wash machine:)
Bathroom immaculate with tub jets and shower curtains:)
Terrace another bonus with table, umbrella and 6 chairs, to take in the views around Sebes:)
Nice small hotel in Sebes. Good value for money. Everything we needed was in the hotel: restaurant, bar, nice place to spend evening outside, safe parking for a motorbike, good breakfast, great location for Transalpina.
Beautiful apartment near the centre of Sebes, with lots of space, including an extra bedroom on the entresole. The place itself is nicely designed and seems to have a soul. Very comfortable beds. Definitely recommended!
The hotel is classy and has a amaizing old time charm.
The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly.
The meniu has a large variety of dishes competing to other restaurants. Great and tasty food.
Clean, comfortable room with nice big bathroom and great shower pressure, pretty close to city center. I highly recommend Da Vincenzo Pizzeria e Ristorante in Sebes! Excellent pizza.
The hotel is quite new, with modern furnishings. We had a triple room, which was perfect since we have 2 small kids.
The staff was very nice and friendly.
