There's a person who takes care of the property across the street. But, he was unable to fix all the problems.

A vacation within a vacation. A true 5-star experience on a magnificent estate above the Douro, a former winery with a handful of luxurious lodges with breathtaking views scattered amid the vineyards. Warm, attentive, personal service. Excellent restaurant with top-notch Ventozelo winelist. Highly, highly recommended.
Located in the famous Douro Valley, a region known for its rural charm and exquisite wines, this hotel offers stunning views of the surrounding hills, the vineyards, and the Pinhão River.

A breathtakingly beautiful property , with attention to minute detail with a caring and friendly team that delivered an outstanding experience .
The cuisine and service at the award winning Teracu restaurant on the property was simply amazing showcasing the best ingredients in a hearty but yet beautifully presented plates.
Jorge, Francisca , Rafael, Maura and Alexandra were spontaneously warm and hospitable and made the Douro valley stay one of the most memorable highlights of our two and a half week trip to Portugal. Each of them were experts in their respective fields and went out of their way to make it a very special and delightful experience for us.We will surely visit this property again and recommend it to all our friends and family..
Thank you guys for making it so!

Each day dinner was an amazing experience. Visiting the winery and the wine tasting sessions are, to my mind, obligatory. Wonderful wines, drink slowly, they keep topping you up....
The area is just beautiful, stunning. There is a sense of awe that overcomes you and the natural surroundings... probably because how narrow the roads are and how high up are. It is worth the drive and the wine and olive oil in the area are exquisite.

One of the most beautiful places in the World.
One of the most beautiful places in the World. Don’t miss this area. Stay out of the large city.
A vineyard hotel up high would be the perfect place. You’ll be able to drive through wonderful small villages in your way. Once in your hotel you’ll probably have access to a great personal or very small tour of the vineyard production facilities. We were invited to walk in the vineyard all we wanted. Views are absolutely amazing. We also stayed at the Barrel hotel which was touristy and filled with buses. Get up and away from the tourist crowd. We drive there Valley by car. It was easy and gorgeous.

Lovely region where you can explore vineyards and nice food.
Lovely region where you can explore vineyards and nice food. It is worth doing a wine tasting with visit to know the details about wine making and the varities of grapes. The landscape is exquisite and you feel an inner peace looking down the Douro river and the vineyards. The people are warm and happy, always ready to help. It is better to go by car to enjoy the full potential of the region. Be prepared to drive on hills with many curves and narrow roads. They also produce olive oil and it is delicious!!!

I spent there 2 nights, went for a boat tour, tasting in one of the vineyards and stayed in another. The Valenca do Douro is just stunning, I couldn't stop taking photos! It was a weekend trip, so 2 nights after spending 2 nights in Porto were just perfect. If travelled for longer we would probably do more tasting in more vineyards to see differences in the processes of wine production and longer day trips from the vineyard that we stayed at.

Small village, blissful with no distractions but also no amenities. Grocery shopping best done in Regua. Fantastic for a calm and relaxing holiday and the perfect spot to explore the Douro Valley.
Nearby Pinhao has good restaurants and a lovely bakery with yummy natas. Also good for river cruising.
We ate at DOC - top notch hospitality, cuisine and ambiance and Vineyard Vila Gale, Quinta do Val Moreira - great hospitality and excellent food.

Quinta da Corte is an idyllic location and perfect for chilling and enjoying the environment. The views are stunning especially from the
swimming pool. we did the wine tour which was truly excellent, we learned so much and really felt the tour was personal to us as we were the
only ones doing it. The food was very good, especially the breakfast and the picnics which they bring to you by the pool and of course the
wine with dinner was excellent! The hotel feels like it was built with love and is run with it too
I loved the decor, location, food, and insight winery. strolling the vineyard and gardens in the morning was dreamy…the decor so unique…the views magnificent! the communal table and farm meals were amazing. We loved getting to know other guests at meals. I truly appreciated the designer touches to the whole property. it made it really romantic, yet unique compared to other boutique hotels in the area. A perfect blend of old and new. I also loved wandering the vineyards in the morning.
The location of this hotel is stunning! A few years ago the property was renovated, and the architect at a fabulous job with the winery, the end, and the seamless freshwater pool. Breakfast is very delicious with plenty of options. and the staff were extremely helpful. Two of the three nights first day we ate dinner at the restaurant and really enjoyed it. Staying here was the highlight of our trip, and yes, we would return. Thanks so much for making our anniversary special!
This place is magical. Situated in a very relaxed and authentic village, it is a beautifully decorated hotel with very spacious rooms. The breakfast and the dinner are just amazing. 3 different types of cakes at breakfast ... We had wonderful dinner with a lot of wine and each meal was perfectly done ! The owners are super friendluly and helpful! It was worth to do the detour from porto to lisbon and spend one very memorable night in this place.
Thanks for everything
This was one of my favourite hotels I've ever stayed at. The property is spectacular with one of the best views you will ever see. The grounds are intimate and charming. The rooms and interior spaces were simple but elegant. I loved the linen bed sheets and had the best night sleep of my trip. The staff were absolutely first class. Attentive and genuinely invested in making sure your stay is special. We will be coming back as soon as we are able.
Everything. Lovely large accommodation. Bedroom, sitting room, bathroom. Good views of vineyard and pool. The owners kindly allowed us to park our motorbike in the courtyard. But also had good parking to the side of the hotel. I would recommend having the evening meal. Great food of top quality and unlimited drinks at a great price. Breakfast was very good too with quality ingredients. Staff and owners very friendly and helpful.
I really enjoyed the personal service and the fact that the whole vibe was very friendly and the business family run. The shared dining experience made it interesting as we got to speak to other guests which we might not do in a larger hotel.
The food was tasty (especially the pumpkin balls :-) ). We were also given lots of lovely wines and ports. Miguel explained everything and was very personable.
•A well thought & well designed hotel with a beautiful
Douro valley view.
•Dining at Côrte was simple but lovely & delicious, it was as exceptional as its wines.
•The staff was quite helpful and kind.
•Wine tour with Francisco was like one in a life time.
Overall, we had a great time over there. It worths all the effort you put Côrte team. It really makes difference. Keep going.!
Our host is so welcoming. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. It was served family style which gave us an opportunity to meet and interact with other travelers from around the world. The food, wine, dessert and port were all excellent. This was one of the nicest places I've stayed at in quite a while.
A super friendly reception by the host, welcome drinks at 19.30 with the other guests, very animated dinners around communal table. This was hotel no.11 on our trip which was meant for relaxation, and it did. The region is a cultural heritage of unbelievable beauty.
We loved our stay here. The hotel design itself is amazing but so is the scenery around the hotel. The staff is very friendly - we especially enjoyed our complimentary tour of the winery with Mr. Francisco. I hope to be back here someday again.
* Cozy room in a beautiful wine hotel with delicious breakfast and winery tour/tasting included
* Charming staff included a very fun wine tour leader, Afonso. Most spoke great English
* Breathtaking views from the winery of the Duoro Valley
Staff is very friendly and felt like not being in the typical hotel.
Dinner was prepared by the property for 30 Euro per person which includes three course meal with wine. It was really good.
Morning breakfast was excellent as well.
Stunning hotel with amazing views. Lovely pool. Very clean and large rooms. The host was very welcoming and professional. Wines and port made on the property is amazing! Dinner served at the hotel restaurant was delicious!
