The owner is a very friendly and generous guy. On the first day he showed us the path to the fjord. A beach where you can enjoy swimming and fishing. On the large terrace there is a heated jacuzzi where you can sit until the sun goes down. The house is spacious and clean. Equipped with all amenities. There is a barbecue that we used. The main benefit of the property is a central location. It is close to a tram stop for getting to the airport, and about fifteen minutes walk to the start of the Floyen hike, or the cable car station if you prefer.
There was a kettle supplied - but no tea or coffee to go with it. Also no fridge to keep milk in for use with the kettle.
There was a plug for the sink - but it was the type that should pop up when you press down on it; instead you had to remove it when you wanted water to come out.
There was a table and chair supplied, but other facilities such as a room safe were absent.
In principal the idea of an electronic check in is ok, but they should install a computer on the property to allow people to check themselves in without mobile coverage, and to issue keycards - see below.
