The camping units are large and comfortable. Lots of space.
Clean and nice WC, 2 showers with hot water, 2 sinks for dishes outside and 1 sink inside near the shower.
Cosy lighting in the evening and at night.
The big advantage is the fact that guests of campsite can use the Etosha Village lodge facilities: swimming pools, towels, coffee service, wifi free of charge. From our campsite No 5 to the main swimming pool was approximately 750 meters (8 min) by foot. It was ok for us.

We loved the camping.

Our bungalow was nice. We had two halfday safaris that was arranged by the lodge and they were OK.
We were a bit unlucky with the big five (in total only one lion) but still enjoyed it.

The location was ideal within such close proximity to the Anderson Gate. We were very warmly welcomed at reception and all the staff members were friendly and kind. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and looked out onto the beautifully maintained gardens. The shower was excellent, the bed comfortable and the patio a lovely place to sit and relax. We really loved the restaurant setting and ambience and the dinners and breakfasts we had during our two nights' stay were absolutely delicious and plentiful!

This is a really nice lodge, the pool is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious. But what made this place special was the staff, all of them truly wonderful and going above a beyond to make our stay special.

If you are planning a trip to Etosha, I'd highly recommend a stop-over in Okaukuejo. Its conveniently located with many beautiful lodges to choose from. Outjo is just an hour drive and the road is paved all the way. There's plenty of wildlife. On my next visit, I'll definitely go with a 4*4 for a self game drive in Etosha.

Stayed in Gondwana Etosha from 16th to 17th July this year - and got charged twice for the room, which is never a great thing in my view.
Very interested in seeing whether this will be rectified or not.
Too easy for the hotels to take advantage of credit card details.

We had one of the standard rooms...lowest accommodations besides camping. The room was very musty and dusty. The staff very impersonal. But it was nice to be able to walk to the waterhole any time day or night to see animals. The food/buffet was expensive but it was pretty good.
The waterhole is really the only reason to spend a night here, except you get in to the park a little earlier to be able to look for the big cats. The price for the accommodation was soooo overpriced for what it was. You are paying for location only here.

Our stay at Okaukuejo was wonderful!!
Our stay at Okaukuejo was wonderful!! The waterhole was an absolute highlight. Our room was really great !! We enjoyed sitting the the water hole and watching the wild animals coming to the hole. Unfortunately we were only there one night and didn't eat any meals there so I can not comment on the meals.
It was practical to have a gas station at the site so that we could check the air in our tires and fill up gas before starting our trip in Etosha!
The location is really nice, you can see the animals come around the lodge at all time.
The deco of the rooms and the main lodge are really well thought
The walk in the bush.
The food was fantastic. The best in Namibia.
The bush walk with the Guide was very interesting and educational, we spent over 2hours in the bush. The guide who is from the North of Namibia also shared the history of Namibia and the different culture that makes this beautiful country. A smart young man with a good general knowledge.
This is a review from the Epacha Lodge&Spa, not the Eagled tended but i think their the same hotel group. We we're diverted to Epacha due to closure of Eagled, apparently due to low tourist numbers. We had an excellent treatment by Graham and Andy and would like to thank both for their sympathy and professionalism. It´s a little bit far from the etosha center (+/-47min) but just outside the hotel there are plenty of animals to see (giraffes walking around etc). The room is idyllic.
This is a really beautiful hotel with massive rooms and the outdoor shower is really lovely. There is a lot of wildlife in the hotel gardens/grounds and that is really the selling ticket for me --- one shouldn't have to go to a park to see wildlife in Africa. The staff are also really lovely people, they make a lot of effort to accommodate the visitors. Many thanks to Abraham, Elena and Brenda for being so kind to our team.
Everything is simply amazing. The rooms, the food, the staff. They are 15 minutes from the Andreseen Gate to enter Etosha so I recommend it staying there instead of the overpriced, worn off Okaukuejo lodge. They also have chitas, leopards and lions to check out on site! I highly recommend! I travelled two weeks across Africa and this was the best facility we stayed!! Thank you!
The Lodge is a beautiful setting and very close to the Etosha Nat Park. Very friendly and dedicated staff who manage to offer the best. Excellent service and excellent food. Safe parking for the car provided. A must be place to experience the natural beauty of Namibia. Safari trips can be arranged by the reception, where questions are welcome!
The lodge was very comfortable and nice. The staff was particularly very friendly and helpful. Our car got stuck in mud and the hotel sent a rescue team shortly after we contacted them. The manager came to check on us and made sure we were ok.
We stayed there for Christmas and they had a special dinner, decor, and celebrations.
Great one bedroom chalet with a free standing tub. The resort features tranquil green spaces and a few pools, which are perfect after a long day of driving on a safari in the heat!
At evening there is also a musical performance from the choir of the hotel which added so much more to the experience. Amazing signers!
Close to the park gate and the territory of hotel was big enough to have short walks in the evening and also very well maintained.
The food was really tasty and the choice was big, especially grill was a highlight of each dinner.
Staff is nice and provides entertainment each evening.
Great location (close to the park). Great buffet at breakfast and dinner (although slow at breakfast for eggs if at rush hour). Great pool and it’s true there was wildlife around the hotel which was lovely. Fridge in room.
I loved that it was right near the entrance of the park. We had our own bathroom and shower, plus a space for grilling. We were fortunate to spend the New Year's here. They also have a shop inside to stock up on supplies.
Hotel, room, staff and food are excellent. The coffee tray is well equipped and linens were top notch. Buffet meals have plenty of variety, and were well cooked snd presented.
Beautiful chalet! Loved the way the architecture incorporated the natural elements and culture of Namibia. The buffets were amazing!! Delicious and fun!
