Very nice location overlooking the new marina, on the sea-front, in a very quiet location
Rooms and hotel have been renovated since my last visit pre-covid - it was always well finished, but now it's really great
Nice buffet breakfast with good choice.
Easy access to old town via an elevator near by.

Very friendly and attentive staff.

We have stayed here before. The staff are very friendly and efficient. We like the fact that the hotel is quite near the station but also near restaurants. The breakfast room is light and airy and there is a good range of food available. Also the wifi is very good. It is excellent value for money.
With a terrace, Villa Eva Hotel is located in Ventimiglia, a few steps from the sea. Free WiFi access is available throughout.

We felt hospitality from our host as if we were staying at one of our friends place. It really feels like home.
Exceptional breakfast. It is a perfect way to start the day.
Very clean rooms, decent sound isolation between rooms. Very quiet and effective AC in every room.
Pool is very clean. Pool area is good place to chill. It also has great view of the valley below.
As you will see in other reviews excellent service by Fabio. He is there for everything you need or ask.

We liked that Ventimiglia is very close to popular places such as Monaco, Menton, SanRemo. Day trips very easy to do. Some areas of Ventimiglia were dodgy but overall people very friendly, prices reasonable and beaches not overcrowded

Ventimiglia is a little gem of a place. Overshadowed by Nice, Monaco and Menton, but take that extra few kilometres into Italy and you will be well rewarded.
Great food, super beaches and everything is a short walk away.

We stayed in Latte, a taxi ride out of Ventimiglia in an agrotourism hotel. It was nice to be in this quiet spot and although it was a steep climb up to the property the views were glorious.
We had the breakfast provided and otherwise bought food from the very good supermarket in Latte.
The only thing that would have been useful would be to understand a bit more about the public transport options. There were buses but it seemed we would have had to catch 2 and not knowing the area didn't want to chance not making connections so we got a station taxi.
Our main reason for coming was to see the Hanbury gardens, and they were stunning but not for the feint-hearted with lots of steep climbing.

Ventimiglia is a very earthy working class town so not the place to show off, strut your stuff. Ventimiglia keeps it real!
Definitely be there for Friday market on seafront, thousands come from miles around including Nice etc to snap up bargains eg linen dresses, tops etc at much lower prices than posh shops in nearby towns! Trains packed in both directions all day as result.
Eateries just downhill from station, turn left to Bookcaffe etc tried 3 here all excellent!

It appears to be one of those unknown quite and a very beautiful tourist spot. It’s a nice village right at the French border. The train ride to Ventimiglia from Milan Central station is just about 4 hours. I traveled from Ventimiglia to Nice. It’s about an hour’s train ride. On a beautiful sunny day, you get to see some of nature’s most amazing sights during the train ride - make sure you seat on left side when the train travels from Ventimiglia to Nice - this is where you see the beaches, sand, cliffs, expensive yachts. Small towns of Menton and Ventimiglia are surrounded by major cities such as Genoa, Monaco and Nice. These small towns are perfect getaways for a short trip away from the bustling cities.
Best part - Ventimiglia is not expensive. certainly not as much as any of these cities. And is a very comfortable drivable distance from all of these cities. You can stay here and have nice short day trips to surrounding cities.

The old part of Ventimiglia was incredible and definitely worth exploring. Virtually no tourists but the same narrow streets and alleyways as wealthier Menton and Monaco City. I was sorry that the footbridge no longer existed as I wanted to explore the route to the beach. The train to Cuneo was worth the journey if you’re planning to go to Turin. Arrive early to secure a seat next to a window. Breil sur Roya, Fontan Saorge and Vernante all looked like interesting places to spend some exploring.
Newly renovated apartment, located on the southeastern slope. From the terrace we could see the sea and the nearby town. There was a small supermarket a couple of hundred metres away and everything else could be bought in nearby Ventimiglia. A trip to Monaco is 40 minutes by car and it takes the same time to get to San Remo. The beautiful pebble beach of Spiaggia di latte is about a 4-5 minute walk away, which is great considering the cost of beachside parking.
Excellent hotel/b&b recently renovated in central Ventimiglia, the room is spacious with a private terrace and a good size ensuite bathroom, in a quiet street by the flower market. A top choice in Ventimiglia where most of the places are old-fashioned and dated. Thw family also runs an Osteria restaurant in the same building that offers excellent Ligurian food with a modern twist. I highly recommend if passing through the town.
The apt was very well located across from the pebble beach and within a 7 minute walk of grocery stores on Via Roma. It was also in the heart of restaurants, cafes and gellateries along the ocean promenade. The apt had most facilities to make it comfortable for a few days stay. Sara, the host, was always available via WhatsApp to answer apt and Ventimiglia questions. Overall, decent value, comfortable and in a great location!
This hotel is located in the old quarter of Ventimiglia and is now easier to reach via a lift from the top of town. The room is very well finished and with an excellent breakfast taken on the balcony. The property is run by a very welcoming host. We would definitely recommend this property for its location within the quaint old quarter but within easy reach to the beaches and rest of town.
It was way more than we expected. We arrived at midnight, but we didn't had diner yet. And Massimo prepared a meal in the middle of the night, because in Italy you can't go to bed with an empty stomach. Amazing! The view from the mountain was stunning. And I have never had such delicious breakfast. It was so much and most of it was freshly made. We would recommend everybody to stay here.
Very warm welcome by Hotel staff and I could even choose the room! The room was quite spacious for Italy and had even a balcony. The room was very clean and had all what we expected. Also the breakfast was great done and you get more then just a croissant and a coffee, what would be typical in Italy!
The two reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and varied for Italian standards and this included gluten free products on request. Everything functioned in the room as it should. The hotel is ideal for people passing through from Italy to France.
The room is furnished very well and the view is great. Eventhough, we booked the room with a mountain view, we had also a sea view (corner room :)) The staff is really kind and helpful. We also appreciated the possibility of free private parking in front of the hotel.
The hotel staff were so friendly. The room was perfect for 3 single people with a bed each. It was nice and cool even though there was a heatwave. The owner went out of his way to get a taxi for us so we could make our train on time. Definitely would return.
The B&B was beautiful, clean, and very close to the train station. We really enjoyed our time there! The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Ventimiglia!
Beautiful, clean, spacious room and you cannot beat the breakfast prepared on the terrace overlooking old Ventimiglia. Our host was kind and punctual around when we wanted to eat breakfast. Highly recommend!
Staff was excellent, friendly, premises are clean and well maintained. Quiet location. Town is magnificen, specially the old Ventimiglia. Pool is a good addition when you don't want to go to beaches.
Nice and clean room. there was a small kitchen, a microwave and a fridge. Pool and breakfast also very good. The B&B was located close to Ventimiglia and was easy accessible by car.
