Hotel Miravalle, hotel in San Miniato

Hotel Miravalle is set right under the Tower of Frederick in the ancient square of the castle, facing San Miniato cathedral. This hotel features free WiFi throughout.

This hotel is directly on the Via Francigena. We had a spacious room although the bathroom was rather cramped and dated. Good view across the countryside. The biggest surprise was the excellent restaurant

Hotel San Miniato, hotel in San Miniato

Hotel San Miniato is set in the medieval San Miniato, in the province of Pisa, near state road SS67. It offers elegant rooms with minibar and LCD TV.

The front desk staff at night was lovely - helpful and sweet. Only person on duty though, so lots of waiting was required. But she was great. The area is cute and hotel is clean.

Relais Sassa al Sole, hotel in San Miniato

Boasting an outdoor pool, a spa centre and a garden, Relais Sassa al Sole offers accommodation on the Tuscan hills. San Miniato Train Station and city centre are both a 20-minute drive away.

A truly relaxing break in such a beautiful setting - the photos do not do it justice. Definitely a treat but worth the expense. Our room was lovely and we enjoyed all of the facilities: pool, spa, gardens, food / bar. Yes, the hotel kitchen only does breakfast and lunch but (1) there is a good bar menu to go with sundowners and (2) there are plenty of great restaurants nearby which the staff are happy to recommend / book. And their help is readily offered - we booked a cooking class and taxis through reception, and found everyone to be friendly and helpful. The hotel is isolated (which adds to its charm), so we would recommend hiring a car so that you're not limited to taxis and can take the odd day trip around Tuscany during your stay, to nearby San Miniato or even Lucca / Florence / Pisa / Livorno which are all within an hours' drive or so.

Affitta camere San Miniato, hotel in San Miniato

Affitta camere San Miniato is offering accommodation in San Miniato. Free WiFi and an ATM are provided. At the guest house, all rooms are equipped with a desk.

The buzzing electric socket, the twin beds tied together, the broken shower door, the calcified shower head, the hairdryer strategically placed beside the overflowing shower, the thin and dated duvet, the veranda that could not contain more than half a person standing, the kitchenette that had no kitchenware but did half plastic knives and cups but no kettle, dishes or anything useful. The singular good thing we experienced was the view from the window sitting on the loo

B&B Pane e Rose, hotel in San Miniato

Set less than a 10-minute drive from San Miniato, B&B Pane e Rose offers a garden and classic-style accommodation with air conditioning. Free WiFi is available throughout.

Hosts are super welcoming and nice, the check in was very easy and the communication with the hosts was great with always a nice kind attitude. They shared recommendations about things to do around, the house has a big garden and it's a nice place to spend the evening enjoying the peace and silence of nature. I found it very convenient to have a parking inside the premises. The breakfast is very nice and served personally by the hosts, definitely I recommend this place.

San Miniato is a small town divided in two parts, low and high. San Miniato Basso (low) houses commercial areas, large supermarkets etc. The high city is the old town with a lot of history to be discovered.

We went to San Miniato for part of the annual truffle festival (last 3 weekends in November) and we weren't disappointed! The whole town smelled delicious - the food market sprawls throughout the old town and is full of wonderful, interesting ingredients and food experiences. San Miniato itself is a lovely old hilltop town rich in heritage, and very picturesque. There are some lovely activities available in the local area - we were able to go truffle hunting with a local family and their gorgeous dog. The Tuscan countryside in autumn was spectacular. Definitely recommend having a car - the streets of the town are very narrow and winding, so just a small one maybe - but the area begs to be explored and it's not as easy if you are relying on public transport. San Miniato is within very easy striking distance of Pisa airport, and Florence. Will certainly be going back!

    Great little hidden gem!

Great little hidden gem! The food is amazing, best I had in Italy! Visit the local butcher shop for lunch called Serigo Falaschi 4 generations strong all organic meat! you’ll have experience to remember, tell them Chef Mahogany sent ya. There is small bus service but it’s limited to keep in mind, and be ready to walk a lot, but it’s very small town, maybe 10 blocks in total! Don’t be fooled into booking with Airbnb, get hotel it’s worth it, and there are a lot issues with insects, so I recommend a place with A/C and keeping windows closed. Try Plazza de Populo in the square best restaurant in town for dinner! Ciao!

San Miniato is a very small Tuscan town it is very typically Italian however compared to others in the area like Sienna or Lucca it is not as large or interesting. This is the heart of truffle country and I am led to believe there is a festival in November which I am sure would be worth a visit. The surrounding countryside is beautiful for walkers, cyclists etc. We stayed in a villa on the outskirts of the town which was very peaceful and quiet and served as a base for exploring the area.

San Miniato is a lovely hill town with with good access from FI-PI-LI motorway. It is quiet, not crowded with tourists, still good possibilities to eat and drink well. Must see are the tower on top of the hill, the cathedral, palaces and old town streets.

A nice vinery and olive oil farm located at the first km of the pilgrim route Via Francigena from San Miniato to Gambassi Terme. If you are looking for a stay in San Miniato and walk this route, I definitely recommend staying at Marrucola - otherwise you may not be happy with the location as it’s 30 minutes walk from a city centre! The hotel stuff are very welcoming and sweet, the farm itself is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The restaurant at Marrucola is actually very nice, they offer homemade oil alongside the dishes.

We loved everything about La Mansarda. Honestly the neatest, cleanest, most organized rental I've ever stayed in. Everything was spotless and well thought out. The tiny terrace is adorable and perfect for coffee or a drink. The views are spectacular. San Miniato is a beautiful town and the white truffle festival was a great fun. After checking out we had car trouble, and Filippo (the host) and his mother went above and beyond to get us back on the road. Incredible hosts and a wonderful stay.

It was just perfect, at least for us. The apartment is large, bright, with a good repair, and looks gorgeous. You will have everything you need for your stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, cutlery, washing machine, heating and air conditioning. The location is great too, it's in the center of the old town, but there is a large parking lot nearby, a grocery store, restaurants and a pharmacy. If you want to go to other parts of the city, the bus stop is 5-7 minutes walk from the apartment.

Location was great. Breakfast was really good and plenty. The house is clean, beautiful and nicely located. It is very peaceful with an amazing view of the Tuscan region. Valentina is a very nice host and she tried her best to communicate with us in English. She even made us a wine tasting/tour reservation at a local winery. And that was another great experience for us. The town San Miniato is a nice gem. We will definitely be coming back to stay at Le Mammole.

A party of five weary cyclists (it is some ascent up to San Miniato!), we received a great welcome and very secure parking for our bikes. The hotel is at the top of San Miniato, and the rooms have absolutely incredible views. Being a converted monstery, the hotel is full of history, and the rooms retain this heritage while being very well appointed. We received an excellent recommendation from staff for dinner.

This is certainly one of the best places to stay in San Miniato. Walter the host was great with communication beforehand. The property was flawlessly clean and looks recently renovated. The washing machine was a nice touch. I appreciated the host's generosity with the free amenities in the fridge and pantry. That was above and beyond.

The view from A casa di Pablo, across the hills surrounding San Miniato is stunning. Just stunning. Aida is such a welcoming host, super friendly, with fantastic English. The room was beautiful. The mattress incredibly comfortable with a lovely little terrace to watch the sun setting. Quite a magical place to stay.

The breakfast was fantastic with a great deal of delicious home-cooked cakes, and pastries. Lots to choose from and a great start to the day. We loved the location. We went to San Miniato mostly for evening meals, which is an amazing place. But there are many Tuscan towns and villages nearby to visit.

Wow, what a find! Fantastic location in the middle of a medieval town, next to the church, on top of a hill. Great staff. The hotel is not new, but we actually liked it that way, added to the rustic charm. Even the sofa bed was very comfortable.
