The night of the reservation I received a message from the hotel, that they have a problem with our room and they reserved a room for us in another terrible hotel. It was everything broken in the room, it smells like toilet, the breakfast was awful. This pleasure was only 105 euro....

The location was fantastic. I loved the area and the atmosphere. Check in/out were very smooth. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the mini bar offered a nice selection. The breakfast was also enjoyable, served on the terrace with a great view. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. It was a delightful stay, and I look forward to visiting again in the future

Monica was the perfect host and could not do enough to help us. The area around the B and B is very residential with plenty of caf'e culture and and the terrace is a wonderful place to see the locals going about their daily lives. The terrace is also a perfect place to sit and chat on a warm sunny evening.

The apartment is consistent with the description. It's near a supermarket and a delicious pizzeria. It's a really good place to stay in if you want to visit Napoli. You can easily take a train and enjoy the city. The owner is a very nice and helpful person.

Lots of small food cafeterias and various shops down the high street. Pizza, pasta is readily available. The sea is close where the fishing vessels are to be seen. Its a bustle free location to relax and situated within easy reach of the City and archaeological sites. It has two stations situated close to each other.

Portici itself is nothing much.
Portici itself is nothing much. As a place to stay just out of Naples, the hotel was lovely. Portici sn't great for visiting Naples itself daily due to the train service though, but then Naples centre probably only warrants 3 days. The local stations are Pietrarsa (modern trains but limited service), and Bellavista on the rather run down and crowded Circumvesuviana line. Travelling on the latter is not a pleasure, eg to Herculaneum or Pompeii, but that is an aspect of the public transport to such places rather than something arising from staying in Portici.

Loved walking around the streets and the local food.
Loved walking around the streets and the local food. Could readily reach Erculano ruins on foot. The train stations were easily found and had good service. Trying to get local bus tickets was a disaster although due to poor Italian we were relying on Google Translate. Honestly didn't need it though, the tourist services/tours based at the train stations were excellent and good value

it’s a quiet and lovely place!
it’s a quiet and lovely place! 10 min. walk to port, beach and restaurant line. Railway takes you to Napoli ca 7,5 km, Sorrento ca 21 km. Portici Express bus takes to mount Vesuvio ca 10 km. Herculaneum preservation ca 1,2 km. We enjoyed also Orto Botanical Garden of Portici. Port area restaurants food and service was excellent.

Good location to stay by the sea in a quiet area with parking and just in the "middle" btw Pompei, Vesuvio & Napoli center (you should visit Napoli underground, a very interesting tour). We also had the best Pizza in Italy in Portici :)
We also visited the Amalfi coast (traveling with our car) and had really great time in Amalfi, Sorrento and Positano. We were traveling in February, weather was great and roads quite empty and was easy to get a place in restaurants. I can not imagine conjunction on these roads during summer... and I can not imagine where you park during the season, since already in February, this was almost mission impossible.
- Hard to find a private room with your own bathroom for this price in Naples.
- The nuns are kind, friendly and accommodating
- A simple breakfast is provided according to your preference and choice.
- The nuns will clean the rooms/toilets everyday
- There's a small kitchen and common area to eat your meals or watch tv
- The location is great - a 15 minutes walk to the regional Trenitalia where you can easily take a train to city centre of Naples or to the Amalfi; restaurants and supermarkets nearby as well.
Location right on the sea side with a fantastic view of the Golfo di Napoli. Luxury Rooms newly renovated, perfectly cleaned, with everything you need.
Facilities really good with swimming pool and gym, bar and breakfast with full sea view
Being far from the main road directly on the sea side, it is a real island of peace and luxury in Portici
Last but not least, staff is fantastic: friendly, helpful, they did satisfy all our (not easy...) requests.
Absolutely recommended, by far the best hotel in Portici
The BB is very clean and the host is very friendly and accommodating! The space provides a kitchen space to refrigerate snacks/drinks, a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. The location is awesome and 1 block from a train station that goes to Naples or to Pompeii/Sorrento. The host is awesome! She helped us schedule a taxi from Portici to Positano. Would recommend staying here especially if you’re looking for something more quiet than Naples while still wanting to experience the area!
I had an emergency situation and found myself looking for a hotel at midnight. I was welcomed at Villa Colombia with a level of professionalism, discretion and politeness that is today hard to find. I ended up staying two days, the service was always great, the room was very comfortable and beautiful, the building is gorgeous and surrounded by trees and with two swimming pools to start or end the day with a quick plunge and some sun bathing.
We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Filu! The rooms were always cleaned, the AC and shower both worked perfectly fine. The owner was very helpful and open to any questions. The Cafe was a nice place for breakfast and a good way to start the morning. Portici itself is a cute city with way less tourism than Naples, which makes it perfect for exploring and experiencing the local life. Can recommend!
Beautiful hotel with very spacious room with modern and clean fixtures. Nice balcony to sit out on. Pool area was luxurious with comfy sun beds and poolside drinks and snack menu served. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble - they really looked after us and made my birthday celebrations special. The restaurant on site was amazing - quite pricey but worth it!
It's spotlessly clean, the rooms are cleaned and the towels are changed every day. Our room was beautiful, warm and the shower was great. The complex is located near the Portici train station and a cheap public parking, and there is a big supermarket very close to it. We were offered some cookies for our children and there were tea and honey without limitation.
The apartment is fully equipped and well-located. It was not hot in the rooms, when we were here in August.
The apartment is not far from Herculaneum, which many would prefer to Pompeii. Portici is much calmer city, than Naples, and a good base for going to both Naples and Amalfi Coast.
The host was extremely helpful. Thank you!
Really loved the hosts of this B&B, they were supportive and available throught our stay. Location was perfect as well - right in the centre of Portici. Public transport was available close-by. Our room was very clean and was cleaned every day. Loved this place!
Easy to find. Large rooms. Clean. Easy access to train system for venturing to Pompei or in to Napoli. Several dining options within a walk of 10 minutes or less. Good windows/doors for cross ventilation in the house. Good response time when messaging the host.
It was cheerful, clean and comfortable. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, as we were new to Italy altogether. Everything we needed was available for us. They made our stay a perfect one!
The hostess was so welcoming and kind. She was communicative and helpful with any requests. The apartment was clean with a great location so you can explore everything Portici has to offer.
