So we were driving down from Milan to Nice and looked for an overnight stay hoping not to land in another villa-whatever kind of boring hotel and we discovered a gem! We were offered a clean and spacious room with a seaview, way better than what you expect from a 3-star hotel. We couldn't resist staying a couple more nights as it is an absolute joy of a place.
The team is super friendly and helpful in each and every aspect. They are truly a pleasure to speak with, and everyone helped us with every minor ask we had.
And yeah, his Majesty The Breakfast! It is a golden standart of what a hotel in a small town could offer - crispy croissants with vanilla cream, a decent choice of meat and cheese, freshly prepared scrambled egs, very good coffee to name a few things we loved here.

Its an excellent place for mountain biking with loads of trails behind the town and way at the top of the surrounding hills. We did different trails almost everyday for two weeks and enjoyed everyone of them. There is plenty of information on Trail Forks and the locals sell a printed trail map. Lots of options for shuttling and good bike shops for repairs and parts. It's very easy to get around the town by bike or on foot. There are plenty of gelato shops to choose from and lots of good restaurants mostly for seafood but also pizza, our favourite. We had nice warm 20-28 deg C weather from late September into early October but would avoid the peak summer months as it maybe too hot for biking but OK for swimming. It's a beautiful town surrounded by beautiful historic villages, olive groves, lovely forest and limestone outcrops and hilltops. Some wonderful places to explore.

Pietra Ligure is a nice and atmospheric village with a piazza, lots of terraces, restaurants and gelaterias. It is not overcrowded and has affordable prices. The highway is nearby but out if sight and there are many activities within half an hour drive, both maritime, like snorkeling, diving, whale/dolphin watching, sea kayaking etc, and inland: walking, mountainbiking, cycling. Some nice villages like Noli and Finalbuorgo are close by.

According to my life style Pietra Ligure meet my needs as a traveler, its a mixture of city and urban environment, if dont like a lot of motor vehicles sound during your stay then dont prefer to stay in the city center but the disadvantage is that you have to walk a bit to access the beaches.
In terms of foods selection name it and you will have it. There are also a lot of products and foods that the locals can offer you.

Very nice, clean, friendly structure within short walking distance from the beach. Especially great for mountain bikers with dedicated storage room, cleaning station and a resident expert that operates his own shuttle service to the trailheads.

The hotel is about 1,5km from the city center, no bus, and no bikes, and no taxis are available.
It s domestic tourist visiting the area, therefore no one make an effort to speak English.
Food is a big disappointment and it s quite expensive for the value.
Restaurants closes early around 22:30 only snacks are open until late.
Private beaches are not worth the money and the good ones are already booked long time in advance.
Stefan I and his family were gracious and kind hosts from start to finish. They picked up my daughter and I from the train, helped us arrange our itinerary for our day at the beach, and went above and beyond when we asked for recommendations for everything from taxis to cooking classes. And the food, room, bed and shower (great hot water and pressure) was exceptional! Such a lovely family with an admirable commitment to sustainability and hospitality. I would 100% come again!
Breakfast was very good with lots of options to choose from. The freshly made eggs and omelets were delicious and my daughter loved the cakes and croissants.
The rooms are very clean, modern and new and the beds are very comfortable. We changed the room to have one with Seaview and the balcony there is big. The pools are nice too. The one on the rooftop is smaller but also nice. And the access to the beach is very close. All in all, a very lovely place to stay.
Sant'Anna is at a perfect location close to the center of Pietra Ligure, a nice and atmospheric village at the Ligurian coast.
From the balcony you have a magnificent view over the village and the sea. The swimming pool is excellent and the staff very friendly. The apartments are not to big, but reasonable value for money at the Ligurian coast. There is a separate room for bikes.
The hotel is nice, comfortable and clean, wuth very nice and cozy small balconies. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Giovanni! Rooms are well equipped. It is located within 15 minutes of walking distance from the sea. Also be aware that the pool is not open 24/7,and check the time table, also swimmer have to wear a swimming cap.
This is a very nice apartment , about 1 km from the beach. We had a free shuttle bus going from the property to the beach, which was very convenient. We had a place in the garden where we could spend the evening. We got all the information we needed about restaurants and places of interest from our very nice host.
The hotel is conveniently located, close to the sea and the town centre. You can see a little bit of sea through the room window. The staff is helpfull and pleasant. Facilieties are a little bit worn out, but all tidy and clean. There is a bar on the ground floor where you can buy breakfast and coffee.
Mario and his team were wonderful hosts! We really enjoyed our time in Pietra Ligure!
The team was very helpful with every request we had and we had a great time together in the bar.
The room was perfect and clean.
We will definitely come back!

Really nice hotel in Pietra Ligue. Clean rooms with everything neccesary worthy of his price. Staff also very helpful. Breakfast nice. Also really good location for trips (Genova, Sanremo). Also Pietra Ligure is really nice city with beautiful city center.
It was quite a nice hotel with a huge balcony and awesome sea-view. Two sunbeds were available on the balcony in case you preferred staying in the hotel. Housekeeping was regular and we always had clean towels. The breakfast was excellent and diverse.
Great place to stay with dog. Breakfast was rich and in a nice hall. On the roof, if the weather was good, there was a great restaurant! We had a big room.
300m from hotel you can find beach where you can go with dog.
We liked everything: the apartment, arrangements, facilities, the swimming pool, th staff...we didn't expect to find all this in a 3 star hotel, i recommend this hotel with all my heart. Good job to the team!
Beautiful accomodation, furnished with style, spacious garden, we appreciated the sustainability concept. Lovely breakfast, great service, well working family business where you feel welcome as at home.
Nice family owned hotel, located just by the seaside and 3 minutes walk from the train station, very clean, owners are very welcoming. Will be back definitely.
