The helpfulness of the staff was above expectation. Really nice chat with the owner. Location idilic. Would for sure visit again.
Just outside the Castle of Monteriggioni, Albergo Casalta is on Via Francigena in the historic village of Strove. This friendly family-run hotel is set in an ancient Lombard fortress with stone walls....

This is a cluster of houses turned into a small hotel/inn. The location is very remote but easily accessible by car, plenty of parking, very beautiful views, very nice pool. Units (there are different sizes of apartments) were very nice and well equipped. You could cook for yourself, though not having an oven (not even a small one) was a limitation. There is a restaurant on site that we did not try but others seemed to enjoy it. It is a nice base to tour this part of Tuscany. A very nice experience. Owner was on site most of the time, nice and helpful. Overall very nice experience and we can definitely consider coming again.
Featuring an outdoor pool an BBQ facities, Borgo dé Brandi offers apartments and suite set in a former monastery in Monteriggioni. WiFi is available throughout.

The friendliness of Georgia and the views and access to Monterrigioni were the best bits. The garden and bike tracks around are lovely but the weather did not really allow us to make the most of them.
Situated within 15 km of Piazza del Campo and 35 km of Piazza Matteotti in Monteriggioni, Rooms and Wine al Castello provides accommodation with seating area. The property has city views.

Perfectly situated in the main piazza of Monteriggioni. The room I stayed in was beautifully furnished with a view of the wall and surrounding countryside. A substantial fresh continental breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning. The owner recommended an excellent restaurant nearby for dinner.
Surrounded by the Tuscan hills, Torre Della Chiocciola features a restored tower dating back to the 1200s. This property offers free WiFi and a garden.

Clean and quiet. Host was also very welcoming who offered us to prepare dinner as location is a bit far away from other towns. Great location for those planning to go for hikes or long walks. Location in also quite close to Siena.
Located in Monteriggioni, Villa Montecastello has a garden with outdoor pool. It offers free Wi-Fi and country-style accommodation with an iPod docking station.

I liked that the property was on a farm and that it was environmentally friendly and organic. Being near Seina meant the property was placed centrally and we were able to drive to the likes of Florence, Siena, Lucca and Arezzo all within slightly over one hour and yet be in a beautiful peaceful location for our evenings.

We had an absolutey amazing stay at Borgo San Luigi.
We had an absolutey amazing stay at Borgo San Luigi. The property is kept very clean with beautiful views, Tuscan trees, a pool and large lawns with cut grass to stroll or to relax in one of the many lounge chairs. When we arrived, we were met outside by Jasmine who was so welcoming and friendly. We knew immediately that we were going to enjoy our visit. She was so helpful with any request or questions we had and also to help with recommendations to visit farms and wineries in the area. The breakfast buffet was large with everything you would ever expect from a world class buffet and had a great atmosphere when getting the day started. Mario, our waiter in the restaurant, took great care of us. He is very professional, friendly and helped us with the delicious food and wine selections during lunch and dinner. Jhonny served us drinks around the pool during the day and at night he served in the lounge area which has a pool table and a fireplace. He was professional, friendly and also very funny. The owner introduced himself. He was always on site, making sure that all was clean and running smoothly. First Class all the way!!! What a great stay we had, we didn't want to leave and we can't wait to go back.

Romantic, ideal for people who want to rest in idyllic location surrounded by nature. Olive groves, hills and castle - like taken from the movies made in Tuscany region. Great for people who travel with pet. They organize weddings as well, so if you plan to get married in future I highly recommend this place.

It is a very nice, compact, attractive and historic little town. Good information on it available from the Information office. However, it can easily be seen in 2 hours or less (not counting local meals, etc).

Lovely place to visit / stay.
Lovely place to visit / stay. Some great restaurants, reasonable prices, a couple of interesting shops. Great self service bar where you can buy beers form the fridge, Prosecco and al fresco bread, ham and cheese sharing platters.
Liked the character and layout of the property and the fact we had our own terrace to sit on. Lots of places to sit in the garden - you just pull a lounger over to where you want to sit.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly Matissimo in the restaurant who was always smiling and professional.
During our stay there was a problem with a large group of people who were particularly noisy and the hotel dealt with it in an exemplary manner.
This is a really lovely place! Picture book Tuscany - a beautiful house with a lot of character, stunning gardens, a cute little dog and a great pool. The owners and staff were so sweet and turned our short stay into such a nice experience. Great breakfast with homegrown fruits. It's a perfect location for visits of Siena and Monteriggioni (where you can spent an evening to remember, with amazing local food and beautiful sunsets).
The stunning farm house, sparkling clean infinity pool and the wine tasting! We ate at the winery on two nights and the food was to die for! One of the best meals we had during our time in Tuscany. Great location as a base to explore other areas of Tuscany. The family who own the farm are just wonderful and we met some lovely people who were also staying there. Would highly recommend this property and can't wait to return.
Good, very specific location; very close to Siena and other wonderful places in Tuscany. The accommodation is comfortable, and suitable for people who do not want to stay in a city. The rooms are spacious, rustic, and comfortable enough. The owner is a very nice lady, willing to help. You may take a look at her farm as well (with alpacas, donkeys, cats and other animals), which is great for children.
proximity to Tuscany , dinner was nice and breakfast fine with lots of cakes and sweets, cereals , ham and cheese , eggs ,, nice pool and gym .. spa is okay although you have to pay extra to use the spa facilities (at 30 euros it needs to be high quality ) and pay extra for a pool towel (that’s unbelievable)
thé réceptionnât was most helpful and gave good advice on wineries and area etc
very nicely located in a quiet area. the staff was very helpful. we were able to change our room as we’ve had a baby in the room next door and the rooms are not soundproof. the food in the restaurant was extremely good. we highly recommend to have dinner there. all in all it’s a very good 4 star hotel and we wouldn’t absolutely stay there again.
Great location. Good breakfast.
One night we went for a drink and left our car on the parking of an nearby restaurant. When we left the bar, the gate of the parking was closed so a friendly customer brought us back to the hotel. The next morning the host was so kind to bring us back to our car. We want to express our gratitude again for this!
The building was so amazing. The restoration of this old church into a hotel room was brilliant! The host was able to tell us the history and the importance of the building and the location.
The bed was comfortable and the furniture was period appropriate. The host even provided a bottle of local wine for our pleasure.
Everything! Central to Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti, and Florence. Some of the places we drove to for the day. We loved having the great swimming pool on site to relax and cool off, the lovely restaurant with amazing views all around the property, and the beauty of the castle itself.
Such a lovely place to stay while walking the Via Francigena. Big beautiful room with a view of one of the highlights, Monteriggioni, of the walk. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Good restaurants very near as well. Do yourself a favor and stay here for a night!
This accommodation is located on very spacious well maintained grounds and has a large outdoor pool. There are also 2 restaurants to have dinner at, one being formal and the other more casual. The room was very big and comfortable. Staff were all very helpful.
Beautiful agriturismo, super comfortable, with spacious apartment and amazing view and scenery. Monica was very nice and helpful, and we had great time there. The kitchen is great, and we were able to cook our meals there easily.
The breakfast was amazing. Stefania, our host, was just awesome. Very knowledgeable of restaurants, tours, etc.. just like a hotel concierge. The rooms and property was very clean. Highly recommend this property.
Great room, very comfortable, good bathroom . Very welcoming host . Great location within the walls of Monteriggioni. Would happily stay there again . Highly recommended.
A perfect retreat in the middle of Tuscany. The place was quiet, clean and the hosts were very warm and welcoming. Be ready for a sweet local breakfast! ;)
