Chiara was our wonderful hostess and she made our stay even better! She was attentive, kind and very knowledgeable and cared alot about the property, so much that I thought she owned it!😆 that's a great quality to have. I highly recommend checking out their newly added wellness cave spa!!! So beautiful, innovative and relaxing and right on site!

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Offered free bicycles that we could use (which was very nice).
The room was very clean, with all necessities, even extra blanket and pillows.
The mattress is hard, which for us was a great thing as we are used to it and it helped us to sleep comfortably.

We stayed here because we read reviews of the crowds not being as heavy as other towns, and it's true! Bellano has a more "local" feel and much less crowded, but still busy on the weekend. It's an amazing little town with access to other lake towns. Wish we had more time there.

Fabulous property and host!
Fabulous property and host! Giovanni went above and beyond to welcome us and answer any questions or concerns, both before our arrival and during our stay. The views of the lake are just stunning and we loved sitting out on our own private terrace with a glass of wine enjoying our surroundings. The location is quiet and secluded, but walkable to town, the ferry, and the train station. We were able rent a boat right in the town and enjoyed exploring the lake on our own. Beautiful Orrido and Cascata are two "must visits" in Bellano for ones loving nature. The SS36 motorway nearby makes your travel with car very easy alongside the whole Eastern part of the lake, meanwhile the rest of the roads along the lake can be full of traffic jams. This to be considered if you chose your location to sleep during the night but travel to explore different venues during the day.CsanádHungary - 10Scored 10

We would highly recommend staying in Bellano. It was convenient to other villages on the lake and we could be away from the crowds. It was a charming town with great restaurants. The ferry service was most convenient to Bellano. We were able to travel around the lake easily and looked forward to coming back to our bit of paradise in Bellano!Festa - 10Scored 10
Our group really liked Bellano.
Our group really liked Bellano. We were looking for a smaller town that was not over-commercialized or overrun with tourists, but not so small that there was nothing to do and the dining options were limited. In Bellano we found nice restaurants & we were particularly fond of the places adjacent to the water where we could dine and watch the lake traffic. The ferry schedule was a bit confusing but we figured it out spent some time on the water as well. In all, Bellano was what we were looking for and we were very happy with our choice. We would come back here again.

All the amenities in the room were there. What was really a stand out for us was the incredible staff, especially Jéssica, Stefano in the restaurant where we had very nice options available to us (BTW, he makes the best cappuccinos ever) and at the reception desk as well Orietta. The host was also very welcoming, helpful, and easy to reach (we used the chat in bookings). Note that if you're exploring the lake, we found that Bellano makes a perfect base, as it's close to everything but out of the way, so it's not too busy. Also, Bellano itself has a very nice charm that makes it quite endearing. Be sure to check out the Pasticceria Lorla for great croissants - just a block away!

Our apartment was new and clean, next to the pool and with views on the Como lake. Next to the pool, there is a restaurant which we highly recommend. Nice food and very convenient, also overlooking the Lake. From Bellano, easy connections to all villages along the beautiful Lake Como. Highly recommended for a stay of a couple of days.

The view of Lake Como from our outdoor area was stunning. We really like Bellano as it was a "real" town with a real community and not just about tourists. You can just hop on a ferry or train for a quick trip to anywhere around the lake.
