The hotel was exactly what we wanted from a vacation. Lovely, bright room, gorgeous view, complementary prosecco in our room sipped on the terrace. Staff worked hard to meet our every need. One staff member even shared his own umbrella on a particularly rainy evening. Enjoyed delicious drinks at the bar at sunset. Turndown service with fresh water and delicious cookies. Best view in Amalfi yet close to walk everywhere. Would go back in a heartbeat. When I close my eyes I am there!

This place had personal touch in every aspect of it - the same kind when it’s ran by family. However, attention to details, customer service, and amenities provided surpassed even big brand names in hospitality. Baltazar - owner manager, his sweet mom - pastry chef, his father - second generation chef, his grandfather, after whom the restaurant on the property is named - every employee we got to meet - they all created very cosy, tasty, and comfortable environment where one would want to find him/herself when planning to get away from busy schedules. That is what we were looking to do ourselves and it fitted perfectly to what we needed. Even its location - above everybody else, worked perfectly for us - away from noise and turmoil of overcrowded streets of Amalfi even in April. Did I mention vast sea underneath that we were “forced”to observe?

This was our second visit to Atrani, we love it.
This was our second visit to Atrani, we love it. Out of the hustle and bustle of Amalfi but just a ten minute walk to get there. The piazza in Atrani has a good selection of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Swimming is at hand and very safe. It is such a beautiful little town, its locals are friendly and will answer any questions. Note, the Sidi bus schedule does not run to normal schedule on public holidays like All Saints’ Day. Information around public transport can be difficult to find out so do your research before leaving home.

Atrani is away from the crowds, but close enough to walk to...
Atrani is away from the crowds, but close enough to walk to some of the other villages. The buses went straight past the apartment or you could catch from Amalfi. The restaurants in Atrani are fabulous, Savo and A'Paranza were our favourites. The little shops in the Square provided fruit, fish, bread, water, drinks and there was a fabulous little gelati shop. But most of all we loved a little cafe that we went to every afternoon for drinks, that was right on the water. Bar Nettuno is run by Andrew and is a great spot to chill out and watch the boats come and go.

The area falls in the centre of Amalfi. Everything was really close from here. Surroundings were very pretty and touristy as well. Location was perfect :) just sad that we only found Italian cuisine here. (since I’m a vegetarian ) so got a bit tired of eating pastas and pizzas for every meal :(Kavya - 8.0Scored 8.0

Atrani is a little town well located to amalfi. It has a beach but you can also got to the amalfi by walk. There is a tunnel between amalfi and atrani 900 meters long. and also atrani has a little square includes market, bar, restoran. We arrived in Salerno from Rome.
We arrived in Salerno from Rome. We thought we would be able to get a taxi/Uber to Atrani, but there were not any available. The easiest way was to take the ferry, which took about 35 minutes and it was a pretty view during the ride! Leaving Atrani, we took van early in the morning and the winding roads made two of our three kids car sick, so the ferry is way to go if possible and is way cheaper. Overall, Atrani was good and we enjoyed our time there. Most restaurants do not open for dinner until around 19:30, so if you have young kids it is good to keep in mind! It is easy to walk around throughout Almafi and Atrani.

Atrani is the best stay for an Amalfi coast trip. It’s walking distance to the buzzing and touristy Amalfi, but it’s quiet, local, and quaint. There are amazing restaurants a cute beach and all you need while still being close and connected to the rest of the coast. I really recommend it.SamantaCanada

The room decor, view the hotel lobby & most importantly the wonderful bell boy Carlos. When visiting EU with heavy bags, having staff like Carlos to support the luggage makes all the difference. He was such a nice person who helped us carry the luggage in & out from the hotel, even to the bus stop. We loved the location in Atrani (a short 10 minute walk along the beautiful coastline from Amalfi) as it was less touristy while still so close to all the action. We would highly recommend staying here, and will definitely be back in the future!

Atrani is fairly small with very little in the way of shops but has a few good restaurants. There was a festival on when were there which was good. Live music and fireworks. We ate at a good pizza restaurant a few times.
