We loved everything. Very well located a short distance from AOSTA town.
The reception was very welcoming. The rooms (we were two couples) were large and very clean. Seems like the property was recently refurbished as all was as expected.
There was a lot of choice for breakfast with amazing sweets. The pancakes and pistachio croissants were my extreme favourites.
Cannot end this review without mentioning the staff at reception and breakfast. They were all so courteous and helpful. Especially when we asked for help about the places we wanted to visit and places to eat.

Aosta is a nice change for a more cost-effective ski trip.
Aosta is a nice change for a more cost-effective ski trip. It's a working town with more industrial parts on the outskirts and a prettier old-town in the centre.
We really enjoy the skiing in Pila - a good mix of tree lined, interesting runs and more open runs for a smaller resort. Lots of Italians skiing as well as tourists. Also the opportunity to ski in Courmayeur and Cervinia for the day as part of some ski passes.
Some good restaurants in town and the suburbs and a very large supermarket, so great for self-catering.
Pleasant and picturesque drive from Milan airport too.

An interesting ancient town named after the emperor Augustus...
An interesting ancient town named after the emperor Augustus Caesar. Many fine restaurants. Charming streets and lots of shops. Many remnants of Ancient Rome around the city, like the Roman wall, Teatro Romano and Praetorian Gate. A few stone towers from medieval times too. Everywhere you go you look up and you can see the Alps. Take the time to get outside of town and go to the skyway cable car. Take it to the top of Monte Bianco. Amazing! Quite a few different amazing towns just outside of Aosta also. The region has a hybrid flair of French and Italian mixed culture.

Aosta has a lot of Roman history.
Aosta has a lot of Roman history. It has not really got going yet for non Italian tourists which is a shame, but on the other hand is great as its not too crowded. For 8 €uros you can get a multi ticket to vist 4 historical sites which are very interesting and well preserved in places.
It is also a bustling town in the centre with paved streets with lots of quality cafes & restaurants which are reasonably priced. Quite a lot of cafes and the museum don't have English translations so you might need Google translator, but most of the staff have at least some English.
The centre is only 10 minutes walk from the train & bus station. There is a backdrop around the town of snow topped mountains even in June. We will definitely come again.
We had a bit of difficulty retrieving the keys at pickup. But I think we deciphered the message wrong. Now that I go back and read it again, it is correct but at the time we arrived I was thoroughly confused. Maybe my brain was tired from traveling. At any rate, the apartment fit our needs wonderfully. It was spacious and clean and close to the walking city of Aosta Valley where we have family. The company was always available to us for anything we needed, which was much appreciated.
The location was not at all what we expected. The "forest" consists of a few trees, you are in the middle of highways and a commercial park. Outside or with open windows you always hear traffic noise and you always will notice the non-idyllic surroundings when you try to sit outside. As the most important feature of the aosta valley is its gorgeous nature we cannot recommend this hotel. We left disappointed.
Everything about the Hotel is just perfect, great location. Very pleasant staff. Very large room and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice plus they have a few gluten free options too. There is also a Restaurant on the first floor,we tried it and the food was superb and great value for money. Will definitely be returning on our next road journey to the south of Italy.
This Hotel is a gem. Staff are friendly and helpful, It's so nice after a long drive to be greeted with a friendly face. It's not far from the Motorway, great parking (even with a roofbox). Lovely outside seating area under the shadow of the Alps. Food was excellent. We were really taken by this hotel and will definitely use it every time we drive to Italy.
The location was very good, though Aosta is a small city, you're at 5 mimutes from central streets.
The staff was very kind and the room confortable. Perhaps the bed and the pillow weren't the best ones, but it could be owing to my personal sensibility about this ponit...anyway, at last the price was excellent and I can do my endorsment to this hotel
Great hotel in the centre of Aosta in a perfect location to explore a wonderful city. Run by a really friendly family who just want you to enjoy your stay. Rooms are decorated really nicely, warm and comfortable. The breakfast was great with a taster of some wonderful local produce. Would not hesitate to return to the maison bondaz.
Very unique property, located in an isolated area, a long walk away from Aosta. And up a steep hillside. But a one of a kind place with all sorts of extras space, decorated with tons of old farm and field pieces. The outdoor pool has to be the largest in the entire Aosta Valley. And the breakfast was awesome. Truly unique.
Very nice hotel with staff that makes you smile every time you pass reception. Good breakfast. Nice room with the mountain view. Five minutes drive to Aosta city center or Pila cable car. Free parking. There is a ski room that you can access from the outside with the key from the reception.
Nice small hotel, good location allow easy to tour around
Host very kind, helpfull to all our needs, gave explanations about the area and help all our requests.
Very good breakfast.
One of our best stays in Northen Italy.

Nice family run hotel with great views of the surrounding mountains and the valley. Very welcoming and friendly owners.
Good and varied breakfast with barista coffee prepared by the staff.
The location is within walking distance to Aosta (~30 mins).
Lovely hotel with a super restaurant overlooking the Aosta valley and mountains. Stunning views. We had the 7 course tasting menu, which was extremely good. Dog friendly, including the restaurant. Staff were very helpful. Free parking on site.
Owners were very friendly. They spoke minimal English but enough to communicate. Hotel is along the bus route to hiking destinations. I visited during the low season and many restaurants were closed, but a grocery store was a quarter mile away.
A perfect little hotel for a stay in Aosta. We had such a warm welcome from Eleanora who was so helpful during our stay. The breakfast was beautiful with local produce and plenty of choice.
Great communication with hosts (living in the same building).
