I stayed there for two days with my wife and two kids. Was a bit nervous because of my first time in a home stay. But felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Very nice and prime location. Worth value for money. If you are planning for Gulmarg, perfect location. Highly recommended

I stayed in Everest guest house for a short while as a solo female traveler. I am from England, Manchester and it was my first time in Kashmir and I was very pleased to have chosen my first choice of stay here. Every member I interacted with in the house were very caring and respectful towards me, they re-assured me and supported me with tourists guidance including tour packages and my transportation throughout my stay, also my onwards travel. They really did go above and beyond to aid me in every aspects. I was a little fearful when arriving but staying in Everest guest house is like staying in a Home away from Home. If you are deciding a visit, please don’t hesitate to accommodate yourself and your loved ones in this heartwarming atmospheric environment. My stay was very comfortable, you are provided with home cooked traditional meals and the friendly company from the members of the home make it totally worth staying more days. My bedroom was cozy with a heated bed and spacious for my needs, I enjoyed the beautiful garden and mountain view’s every morning. I would definitely recommend Everest Guest House to anyone planning to visit Gulmarg. This home right here will for sure exceed your expectations. Thank you for the memories, I appreciated every moment of all your considerations, I believe I was very fortunate to have felt a part of your home experience and be given the all in one treatments. Not to mention the home members are well spoken in English which made it even perfect as there was no language barrier at all. I hope to arrive again soon to indulge in the beauty of Gulmarg Kashmir during the winter period, if god willing :) X

This hotel in Tangmarg is like a cozy haven away from busy city life. The views from the rooms are amazing, and the staff is super nice. The rooms are comfy, and the food is yummy. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

Stay was really comfortable. It was cold and owner made every attempt to keep our rooms warm. Food was good. Staff was helpful and humble.

I am giving 2 stars just for the interior of the villa rest the location of this villa is extremely disappointing. It’s right in the tanmarg village. In pictures it looks like it is surrounded by trees but it’s right between a village. I asked stay vista executive Rashmi garud (who was too careless to call me and not answer several minutes on call) for pictures of the surrounding she said it is as showed in the pictures. I feel like I’ve been cheated here. It was my first time in Kashmir. The house help was very kind when we entered. We got good tea and coffee for the first time after that the quality when on declining . As we are jain not many food options were available so we asked for fruit. They cancelled one breakfast item in exchange of papayas. They served as horrible paratha and papaya for breakfast. I asked for bread jam. Jam had fungus like texture on it. The kitchen was extremely unclean. Open jars of sugar unclean appliances etc. there was no electricity half of the time therefore there was no heating in the villa. Morning 4-6am the prayers were happening on loud speaker that’s why we couldn’t sleep. I had to shower in cold water since there was no sufficient hot water. They charged us 250 additional for a bottle of water and coffee which wasn’t mentioned before. Whoever is considering to book this villa please don’t. Book any normal hotel in Gulmarg instead.After paying 50000 for a night the service and experience was pathetic. the google location is of Gulmarg and the location provided by house help wasn’t correct either. we roamed 18kms to reach the location
