The area was beautiful with a sea view from the house. The facilities were just what we needed. We were a family of 10 and it suited us down to the ground. Owners were readily available if questions needed answering. A very short distance to the town and everything was on your doorstep.will definatley return.

The place was lovely, great location (ESPECIALLY FOR TRAD MUSIC) and a great host. It said it did not provide breakfast but there was lovely fresh soda bread, jam and milk (after a long journey that was much appreciated). I enjoyed speaking to the owner and her daughter. When entering the place (and after their had been a LOT of rain) I would mention that it smelt slightly damp. But there was an excellent heater (so much so that I actually took the name of it) and really in minutes the place was as warm as toast and very, very comfortable. In the night the fitted sheet came off the bed and reattaching that corner I had to lift the mattress which showed me that under the bed was not as clean as everywhere else was. But, would I stay there again? Yes!

Great location at a great price. I went in the off season and was there during storms and rain and hail and starting to snow as i left. I was looking for somewhere to just relax and be left alone, with quiet walks on empty beaches, and it was perfect.
Staff were great, just went to the bar to order drinks to take back to my room, or side orders of food, and one time a full meal with everything set up on a tray for me to take back. Hospitaity staff were great too when i was sleeping in, just knocked and asked if i needed any fresh towels or tea or etc, which they handed over and left me to it.
I'll mention that staff were also happy to and offering to help with anything i might need, but me just wanting to be left alone and take a break from it all for 4-5 days or so, they nailed it. It was my first break away on my own since covid... 10/10
