It's a really great, nicely furnished apartment. Located in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by the quaint village life, including chicken and geese noise in the morning. Otherwise, very quiet. Free wine and distillate from the owner were a nice touch.

The hominess of village life bundled with modern frills. Family friendly. Lots of yard space and some games for kids to play. We got the basement apartment which was very comfortable. Huge bathroom with large bathtub, appreciated the amenities...like disposable razor and quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Nice diffuser with essential oils in the apartment. Plenty of towels. Nice size kitchen with all utensils. Invited to pick fresh mint growing alongside the drive for tea or mojitos. Close to Varaždin, cool castle in the old town. Also close to Trakoscan Castle, hot springs at Varaždinske toplice, and Lake Varaždin. Beautiful countryside and nature nearby. We came in May and bought fresh strawberries along the road, literally just picked, loved all the wild poppies growing everywhere and also saw some storks in the area getting their breakfast in the marshy surroundings. Property has a whirlpool outside, nicely set up in a gazebo and with a TV with Netflix/Youtube in the gazebo. We relaxed with drinks in the hot tub using the convenient cup holders on the hot tub. Host and family very hospitable, invited us to Sunday lunch and made sure we had everything we needed while still honoring our privacy.

Close by to resort. It is close to our interest (Cakovec and Varazdin city). Pleanty of room for pets (we arrive with oir two Shitzu) and they enjoy very much).
