Everything was wonderful. However, the problem is using public transport because you don't know the exact departure and return times of the bus. Some workers are very kind, but there are also workers who do not know English and are sometimes rude. Perhaps the reason is big number of tourists who want to visit different parts of the island.

Rhodes town exceeded my expectations.
Rhodes town exceeded my expectations. I had no idea how beautiful the town would be, the people are very friendly and it is super easy to navigate! There is plenty of choice for food, cheap and expensive.
Be aware of the local scams of beer/cocktails. ALWAYS ask to see prices and how much the pints are. There are a couple of establishments who trick you into a 'medium' or 'large' beer and they bring out 2L pints costing ££££.

The setting is lovely with the walls and many restaurants and places to visit. Great for walking around if you have proper footwear for cobbles. An easy ferry ride to Symi. Buses to visit Lindos are good for a day out. Be aware that there are cats everywhere. Also cruise ships passengers make the streets packed.

I enjoyed everything!
I enjoyed everything! Easy to get around, with beauty around each corner. Such an amazing place to go, with nightlife, shopping, history, friendly shopkeepers, family-friendly and kid-friendly places and near the newer metropolis. Easy to rent a car and go discovering other areas of the island. Would've loved to stay longer.

A lovely and historical town but we had a few too many days there. The old town is great, go off the beaten track to avoid the tourist traps and find the more interesting cafes, restaurants and shops. The modern part of the town was like anywhere in the world and the sea front is littered with gaudy monstrosities of jail like hotels. Very glad we stayed in the old town which was quirky, quiet and personal.

By far the most impressive thing about Rhodes is the castle...
By far the most impressive thing about Rhodes is the castle and the history of the area. Has to be the biggest and most grande set of fortifications any - where . I visited at the end of Feb. so no beaches. Weather is still pleasant around + 16 - +20 good temperature for hiking. I took fast ferry to Halki-one hour- walked and climbed to Castle of the Knights of St John. Took appr. 1 hr to walk - wouldn’t be fun in summer - take water. As i visited at the end of Feb. great deals on hotels, restaurants were not busy , but weather still very pleasant.
The location was incredible, the roof top deck and gardens beautiful, The rooms clean and comfortable, And most of all the owners were beyond hospitable and accommodating. Manos went out of his way to meet our every need and help us out when we felt overwhelmed by the newness of Greece. Sambica greeted us every morning with a coffee and a smile and everyone made us feel like a cherished part of the family. It was the best introduction to Greek life we could have hoped for.
I have stayed in a number of hotels in Rhodes Town and this is far the best I have stayed in. The room was amazing clean, comfortable, fridge with bottle of water, coffee machine, hairdryer and had the best shower! Hosts were also amazing really friendly. We were able to drop our luggage off before check in time and they telephoned me when the room was ready. Location was great - in the middle of it all but not too noisy. I will definitely stay here again.
Great hotel, 2nd visit to this hotel. Rooms and main reception area clean and comfortable, Good air conditioning, great location to nearby beach and restaurants and in easy walking distance to the old town. The staff were all fantastic from the night man at reception when we arrived to the bar staff making excellent cocktails. also a decent size pool to relax in the afternoon. Will certainly be back again if in Rhodes
Great location, very close to the old town, as well as to nice restaurants in the new town. The well done facility was very comfortable and clean. Despite minor hiccups due to our night there being the first day of the hotel operating (soft opening), the kind and responsive staff went above and beyond to assist and accommodate our needs. Will definitely stay there next time we visit Rhodes.
The breakfast was superb! It was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Katerina and her husband, Zofiri, welcomed us enthusiastically and greeted us with a smile every morning. They were always available for anything we needed. Porolithos Boutique Hotel is a hidden gem in the center of historic Rhodes Town, steps away from the majestic Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes.
Perfect location, professional & friendly staff, clean rooms and facilities. A lot sunbeds compared to number of rooms. Lovely surroundings etc. ... All around one of the best hotel for money in Rhodes Town. This was our first visit to Annapolis Inn but jumped to our preferred hotel for all future trips. Surpassing all previous hotels for 10+years.. (even those with higher budget)
Easy check in and we were "upgraded" on our room (not quite sure what to, as the room looked like the photo of the room we booked). Room very comfy, everything worked and well laid out with a nice balcony that got the sun in the afternoon/early evening. The hotel itself and the corridors/stairways are very clean. It was easy to walk there into Rhodes Town Centre and to the coast.
The hotel is lovely, very clean, friendly staff, great value for money & good options at the all inclusive including a variety of alcoholic drinks. The pool is very nice & never had issues getting sun beds. Room was spacious & comfortable & we had a lovely balcony. The hotel is in a great location - walking distance from old & new town. Overall it was excellent value for money
Awesome friendly and helpful staff. Attention for our baby was awesome. Everybody do the best they can, to make perfect holidays.
Hotel location pretty is pretty nice. You can choose beach. City centre is not far and you can walk throught nice local shops and cafes.
Nice food. You can choose from different dishes. Special thanks for the pizza guy ;) awesome homemade pizza :)
Hotel is located heart of the Rhodes. Old town is 10-15 minutes walking. The rooms have very large size and an amazing Interior design. The comfort of the bed and sofa was top. The balcony is offering great time as well if you want to drink your coffee or wine. We enjoyed a luxury accommodation at a reasonable price. I thank the owner Alex for this visionary hotel.

It was a good experience. Medieval like appearance and ambience was great. My room was big, comfy and cozy and also very clean. Stuff was helpful and smiling.
Hotel is located nearly in the middle of the old town and close to the attractions. Definitely worth for booking.
If i planning to come back to Rhodes, i will search for this hotel.
Such a lovely boutique hotel, extremely clean, close to the port, restaurants, and the old city. All are within a 15 minute walk. The staff were amazing and very attentive. They had the best breakfast every morning. I can't say enough good about this hotel and the staff. This is a must stay place!
Excellent location, just a short walk from the centre of old town. Pleasant little en suite room with fan and air-con. Quiet communal garden and roof-top garden. A warm welcome from the hosts - Manos and his family put a lot of effort into running the hotel and looking after their guests.
Location, clear direction and attentive host, adequate facilities, privacy and lovely roof top area! We were right in the centre of old town and this is a perfect place to base for a fee days in Rhodes. We recommend to consider this place when visiting Rhodes.
Old town Rhodes is so beautiful and is like no where you have ever stayed before. Chateau Anax was a cute quaint hotel with a great host who helped us get from the gates and in to our room. He was also available for help when needed.
a little cozy hotel in the centre of old city with a lovely yard that you can eat your delicious homemade breakfast! the staff were really polite and helpful! and they carry your bags with their little golf car!
For me this hotel has the best location in Rhodes Town- you are about 20 metres from Mandraki Harbour, the bus station and anywhere you want to go! The staff are lovely and the breakfast really nice.
The stay at Mitsis was perfect! The room was big enough for 3 people, all the restaurants at the hotel were all inclusive and very satisfying! The workers were kind and helpful. Thank you!
This delightful hotel inside old Rhodes Town is a 15+. The hosts are unbelievably helpful and attentive. Beautiful rooms and gardens and special treats too. You will love your stay.
