We loved our 8-day stay at Villa Conte Rari in the little village of Kato Garouna. You'll definitely need a car for this stay; it's optimally located for day trips in all directions of the island, plus the stunning Agio Gordios beach is just 5-10 minutes away. The kitchen is equipped for simple cooking. And thankfully, the air conditioning works very well! The host is very accommodating and quick to respond.

Wonderful sea view, close to tavernas and shops, 2 steps from the beach. The apartment was well equiped and the host very welcoming, helpful, always available and flexible! The parking is not directly at the accommodation, but that was not a problem, we just had to walk 3 minutes. The mattresses were really comfortable, more on the firm side.

My three sons and I have spent 5 days.
The apartment is large, has a fully equipped kitchen and 2 air-conditioning units, one in every room. It place was spotless clean.
The host was very welcoming. He picked us from the airport at midnight, greeted us with fruits, fresh lemonade and a snack for the next day. He took us to the beach and showed us around Corfu by day and night.
From the apartment's balcony you can enjoy amazing views of the villages, of the mountains and of the sea! Breathtaking landscapes!!
We all had a wonderful time. The host was available all the time and made sure we are having a lovely time, and so did we. It was amazing!!!
We'll definitely come back!!!

The place is just so beautiful and relaxed, in the evenings it’s like a movie scene which is unbelievable, Sunsets are beautiful. Getting to the place is a bit of a challenge if you plan on taking public transportation as it is on the other side of the Island and I’m not really sure if public transportation is available in that area from the city or the airport. If you rent a car it will be an amazing experience for you as you will drive through the mountains and experience the sights of the city and the areas between the mountains.

Agios Gordios is a good choice for a family holiday.
Agios Gordios is a good choice for a family holiday. It's a mid- sized resort and has everything you need- restaurants, supermarkets etc. We were hoping to find a place with real Greek character. Although it's primarily a holiday resort it does have a nice peaceful atmosphere, and the local people were very friendly and welcoming. The beach is huge, and although there are lots of sunbed areas, there are also large areas without sunbeds where you can have your own space and quiet.

This was my first visit to Corfu.
This was my first visit to Corfu. Having visited many other Greek islands I wanted to ensure I chose a small resort which hadn't been ruined by mass tourism, and this certainly lived up to that expectation. Nice beach, great choice of restaurants, and no tacky British pubs / clubs / mega hotels. Would definitely visit again.

cool village, there are places to go and things to see, but not very much. shops(supermarket) are only for tourists, so everything is overpriced. + there are no buses to get to other town, you can only take a taxi or order a tour, for example, to Corfu Town for 9€ there and 9€ back, not so expensive, but! 14€ there , than 20€ (minimum) to eat 3 times per day for one person, to buy 5 liters of water, another 5€ and in conclusion that's a lot per day. that's why it's a minus, the only way out is to rent a scooter... but if you haven't a license, then that's all, there will only be a tourist overprice and no authentic places, unfortunately.
Well situated apartments. Beautiful views of Agios Gordios. Shops in easy reach. Well equipped kitchen so basic meals can be prepared. Two bedroom apartment was really spacious and very secure with metal shutters. Large balcony with good view. Area was quiet at night. Air con worked very well on the hotter nights. Staff were friendly and helpful and accomdated our late check in. Excellent value for money. The Pina Colada was very tasty!
We drove around Corfu a lot during our stay and found the location THE BEST in the whole island. Beautiful views, village is not so touristy and there’s a lot of good restaurants (Sebastian’s) and beach bars to choose from. Beach itself is amazing with crystal clear water. Dina was a great host, the room was tidy with daily cleaning. Just beware that the trade off with the view is that there’s a lot of stairs, it was ok for us though.
The Mike' s apartment is very clean and comfortable. The location it' s optimal: the apartment is near to the sea and to many bars and supermarkets. It is also possible to use a beautiful swimming pool really close to the apartment. Agios Gordios is a nice and relaxing village and the sea was very clean and most of the time calm.I really appreciated the kindness and availability of Su: She contributed to make our holiday enjoyable.
For those who like laying on the beach all day this is the perfect place. rooms a simple but very clean with one of the most welcoming and nicest staff I ever encountered. the rooms are 30 sec walk from the lovely Agios Gordios bay beach and its just in the middle of Corfu (30 -60 min ride from everywhere depending on traffic) I would recommend staying mornings at the hotel and beach and exploring Corfu at the afternoons .
Small family-run business, kind and always helpful host. Everything was clean and tidy. Room cleaning and clean towels every day. They also run a supermarket downstairs, so you literally have everything you need right there. Beach is very close, as well as lots of souvenir shops and restaurants. Bus stop for bus to Corfu is maybe a minute away from accomodation.
We stayed only one night waiting for our next hotel. Our flight was 2h late but the staff were very friendly and flexible, and arranged transfer from the airport. Very good location in the village center, close to everything including the beach. Very good room, clean, well functioning AC and super wifi. the restaurant is very nice as well.
The owner waited for us to come and warmly welcomed us. The place is very close to the Agios Gordios beach and the room has a very beautiful view to the surrounding mountains. Next door are also cafe and restaurants but if you close the window and doors, you dont hear anything. The owner gave us a very flexible checkout time also.
This is the family hotel. Lovely, friendly and kind people are working there. We really enjoyed our stay! We stayed for two weeks. We actually liked everything! The rooms were simple, clean and cosy. The pool area was great, and the location of the hotel is great as well! We enjoyed our stay in Aloha Hotel and Agios Gordios! :))
The owner Costas is so nice and friendly, always there to help. The villa is well furnished and equipped, located in an old village where the people are quite nice to chat with. We explored surroundings by lying on the Agios Gordios beach and hiking in the mountain. Perfect stay and highly recommend.
The apartment was very clean and tidy, and location was great-just steps away from a beautiful beach. Our hosts, Sofia and Michalis, were great, always doing their best to meet whatever needs we had. We are looking forward to another great vacation at Agios Gordios and Margarita’s rooms next year!
It was an amazing place to stay and impeccably clean. Thankyou so much for providing what was a base for a few days while I attended the best wedding of the century in the village. Agios Gordios is a magical place and your property helped massively! Will be staying with you again without doubt!
The hotel is located in the most beautiful spot in Agios Gordios - it has a breathtaking view of the sea, amazing sunsets! The hotel has great potential. A huge terrace with tables and chairs in old French style gives the place an atmosphere. Rooms are comfortable all with AC.
Loved the little apartment. 2 bedrooms and very reasonably priced. The location is great. Right on the beach. There are many other restaurants and shops nearby and a fab beach. You could rent boats right in front of the hotel. We had a great dinner in the property restaurant.
View is breathtaking! The little private beach is perfect! The space is as pictured. The restaurant is great and also with a spectacular view. The host is amazing. They took care of all our needs. Don't hesitate to book!
Dina provides an exceptional experience. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, & very helpful. The views of the sea & the mountains are fabulous. Short walk to the beautiful beach. The food & Dina’s wine was delicious.
not very friendly staff, I didn't enjoy this hotel. Much better places/ apartments in Corfu town, which are clean and modern and that are run by local people, who are very very friendly and accomodating.
The hotel has a lot of facilities, it's around 10 min to arrive to the beach and they have parties and buggy to rent there. There is small village around with restaurants, market, shop, and bakery.
This is a small, family run hotel beautifully located directly on a sandy beach. Lots of flowers on the patio make a nice addition. Hosts/owners have been very friendly. Excellent breakfast buffet.
