We didn't spend much time in the room but it's a comfortable walking distance from Vardzia cave town (I think it took us about 20 minutes) with a fantastic view of it from the balcony which is reason enough to pick this guesthouse over the other limited options in the area. Standard Georgian breakfast and I think probably one of the better ones we had during our trip. I don't think the owners have much English but are very friendly and accommodating so it didn't really matter.
Nothing to do with the hotel but it's worth knowing that if you're arriving by marshrutka, it will stop and let you out at the driveway if you let them know you're staying here- our van's driver even organised to pick us up again at 9.30 the next morning which made getting in and out of the area quite straightforward.

The hotel is ideally located if you are traveling in Georgia. This place and surroundings are like from a movie about the Lord of the Rings. The room is clean, the area with a campfire is cozy, there I drank tea with a view of the mountains and read a book. The owner and his mother are very hospitable people and cook very well.

It is on a working farm in a beautiful valley. Everything was basic as you expect of a farm. We love the simplicity and honesty of hard working people . The hostess went out of her way to prepare traditional dinner and breakfast. She took us on a tour to meet. Her cattle, sheep and chickens. As a farewell gift she g ave us. A bag of nuts and apples.
