The location is fabulous, and the main building, rooms and spa clean and atmospheric. The spa is a strong point given the indoor and outdoor facilities. The food, once delivered, was superb and was the highlight of the stay, especially breakfast. If you are allergic to dog hair, stay away, as all the rooms (including bedrooms) are doggy friendly - a plus and negative!

Our second stay at The Od Bell and it really is the staff that make it an enjoyable stay. They are all friendly and helpful. We needed to check out early on Monday morning and they organised sandwiches and fruit for our journey as we needed to leave before breakfast.
We did have the cooked breakfast on the Sunday which was delicious.
Bed very comfortable.

The rooms were comfortable and decoration charming and relaxing- facilities in the room were excellent including iron and ironing board!! Teas & coffees were well provided also with a mini espresso machine !!

cottage was lovely newly decorated home from home had everything we needed small with lovely features. Morrisons superstore was not far away 2 mins up the road and a small Tesco down the road. Longleat within an easy drive lovely village pubs good food and drink very friendly.

We visit this hotel annually when we go to Longleat which is very close. We love the character. This year we had a family room which gave us masses of space. Free parking. Wetherspoons breakfast downstairs, 2 bottles water, chocolate as well as tea and coffee in room. Love the secondary double glazing which doubles as fridge for water and juice. Very quiet on top floor.

Could be a very pretty town but a little run down at present time. Also from roadworks a the main junction in the town. Several places to go and eat within walking distance and good choice supermarkets.

Lovely Hotel with very friendly, polite staff. Great location with lovely grounds. Very quiet and tranquil Hotel and not far from shops etc if you require them. I will definitely go back again for a nice relaxing break.

The room was large, comfortable and had everything I needed for a business trip - a desk, plenty of outlets for the laptop, phone, etc and plenty of room to spread out and relax after work. The staff we all really friendly and did their upmost to accommodate us. The rooms were spotless, spacious and homely. The breakfast was included in the cost of the room and it was beautiful, there was lots of variety and the food was all very high quality. The very old house does have a nice ancient charme. The stuff is nice and helpful, the breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant serves good meals at the end of a tiring vacation day.
