A superb area of The Black Country. Lots of great hotels and apartments to stay in, not too far from Birmingham, to reach by bus or train, to leave your car behind. Lots of great pubs, so no need to lower your standards by using a Weatherspoon's same with food, fantastic ethnic variety to choose from, so no need to lower your standards by using Mcdonald's or KFC.

Our visit was to Aldridge/ Walsall and sorry to say we won't be rushing back. Took daughter to stay at her partners, we booked Barons Court Hotel to have a meal, stay overnight and do something the following day in the area as we had stayed previously and enjoyed ourselves. Hotel review partly reflects how the facilities and area has changed for the worse. Hotel run down, rooms are a shadow of how they appear on the photos. Used the Horse and Jockey pub across road for a meal and drink. Meal okay then found out it was closing down in two weeks to become a Lidl. Looked at next pub to go to, drove down and found out it was a Co op. Nothing else to do so stayed in hotel TWO hours then left for home after dropping daughter off. Certainly no plans to revisit anytime soon.

We went to see Noddy Holder at Walsall Arena Arts Centre. It was an amazing evening. The Beverly Hotel was perfect for my wife and myself. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing and cooked and served exactly how we wanted it. Very impressed with the stay there and will be back as we have family and friends living close by. So
Thank you for the staff and the enjoyable stay there. Peter Hevican.

Not a lot of independent choices when eating out.
Not a lot of independent choices when eating out. Just the usual chain eateries which make the place feel tacky. Ended up in TFI Fridays due to lack of good choices. It made do as I was only there to carry out a job but I wasn't bowled over by the place. Only good thing was a cool little Caribbean bar called Pimientos across from the station to grab a beer. It felt like entering someone's sitting room.

I found that all the staff were local and very knowledgeable about the area and had worked at the hotel for many years. I would recommend the hotel for conference meetings and a good place to hold wedding receptions. I also found the the food and accommodation exceptional for the price and have already recommended the hotel to other people. I will also be booking again in July when I will be visiting Walsall again.
that’s a wonderful day out there. Especially, we have enjoyed spa facilities, which exceeded my expectations. I was thinking about just a swimming pool and “regular “ spa facilities, such as finish sauna and steam room only. But on the contrary, we spent a lovely time in there with lot’s of spa rooms with different temperatures. The dinner at the bar was great as well. I recommend to try chips, which are the best chips I have ever tried! Well done, chef !
Also we enjoyed walking around Birmingham’s canals.
I didnt check into hotel lady phoned me and asked for £200.00 and said I cant go hotel until I pay £200.00 I have been in the cold all night not eaten and was not given a room at all but your company took money from me I'm now still on the street hungry and very tired and i
I got wet drenched in the rain and stranded because you took my last but of money I'm starving aswell I have not eaten because booking. Com took my money
Excellent!!!
Check In was a breeze and the facility manager made sure that I had everything I needed. The room was superb - large, comfortable and clean. Wifi was super fast and I had extra amenities including a microwave, dishes and cutlery!
The location was walking distance to a supermarket for amenities and to the tram station into the Birmingham and the surrounding are.
All around lovely and would definitely be staying there again if in the area!
The staff were EXTREMELY helpful at this hotel - our room wasn't set up properly upon arrival, and the staff very quickly resolved the issue (providing the bedding and making the sofa up into a bed as it was meant to be). Equally, the lady who helped us at breakfast was very very helpful, funny, and thoughtful. The cold breakfast options were excellent and varied - meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, pastries, bread, all sorts of stuff.
From the start of entering this hotel the lovely reception staff welcomed us. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff work so hard and always have a smile and are willing to help with anything. This is a well run clean and very safe hotel.
The breakfast is simply gorgeous with an abundance of food on offer. Good quality produce and is well worth the money paid.
I would recommend this hotel to all visiting this area.
The 3 Teams at Lyndon House Hotel from Reception, the Bar and the Breakfast Team are all outstanding! Their customer care and kindness is second to none. I'd recommend Lyndon House to anyone coming to the Walsall/West Midlands (both for business trips and for a holiday break). The quality of service, food, cleanliness and accommodation are all excellent. Thank You to Lyndon House! 10/10!
I liked the idea of this hotel, it was old and simple, however it met my expectations.
The location is excellent in middle of wallsall, between Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
The room was spacious enough, there was a washing machine, kettle, microwave and a toaster. Beside the double bed, there's a sofa-bed.
There is a free parking here for the residents.
Warm and comfortable room with en-suite and kitchenette (sink, microwave, crockery etc). Key pad on front door to property and to room felt secure and made check-in and check-out easy. The accommodation is in a residential area and looks like a normal house. There are limited facilities nearby but if you bring what you need it was fine.
Hotel was good food in bar very poor had to wait a long time they staff couldn’t tell us the difference between a medium done steak to a medium well when asked which was which the reply don’t know cut into it scruffy staff
One of the cleanest hotels Ive been to, Room was abit small but it did 2 adults, No tv remote in room however? Location was good, few pubs up the road with take away places too, 10minute drive towards shops/town centre
Great looking hotel and excellent central location - has a bar downstairs that serves well-priced food too, so very convenient. Very friendly staff - helpful and courteous - very good!
They have a great spa here . Lovely saunas and steam rooms Staff are friendly in all areas. Spotless hotel very clean and room service menu was lovely exellent food choices .
Too far from central Walsall buss every half hour but taxi each way when you go out approx 8 pounds it's not really n central position unless you have car. Fabulous host
Booked at the last minute and was the cheapest I could find, half the price of nearby Premier Inn. Plenty of Free parking onsite. Downstairs area is nicely decorated.
I always stay at this hotel everytime I am in Birmingham for training camp. It has all the facilities I need and the staff always make me feel comfortable.
