All good but some rooms didn’t live up to expectations

Whilst the premises are quite old the rooms were well furnished and very clean. There was a DVD player in the room and a wide selection of DVD's on the landing if you wanted to watch something.
My two measures of a good room are a powerful shower and a comfy bed. This hotel passed both with flying colours.
It was also a real pleasure to have fresh milk for tea/coffee instead of the usual UHT milk pots!
I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel if you are looking for accommodation in Crediton and without a doubt we will stay here ourselves again when back in the area.

The hotel is beautiful. There is a lovely lobby, restaurant and bar. The room was spacious and clean. Right in the historic center near the cathedral.
