The location was perfect, and the view was stunning from one of our rooms. The hotel was very clean & fresh. Access to the beach and to the England Coast trail is immediate. The front lawn was very nice for children to play on. Use of the nearby pool & spa was a bonus. It is an easy walk to the center of Seahouses & to the boat trips.

Fantastic old building but with all the mod cons. Beautiful surroundings and close to all the tourist attractions and stunning beaches. We had the St Bernard room which had a lovely roll top bath in the bedroom...nice touch of luxury.

What Guests Said About Swinhoe:

The property was not in Swinhoe but on road to High Newton.

The property was not in Swinhoe but on road to High Newton. Living areas good but only bedside cabinets for storage in one bedroom. Kitchen was cramped and shower, toilet room area very cramped. This area would not normally have been passed as satisfactory by a building inspector as it had only a single sliding door and not two doors between a toilet and kitchen, which is the normal requirement. The village itself seemed only to comprise of a few houses and assumed to be for agricultural workers or holiday lets.
