Cozy and very comfortable room in a house with lots of character. Wonderful beds. Easy off-street parking right in front. Lots of maps and information about local nature walks. Lovely takeaway breakfast so we could get an early start. Clare is a gracious host and available to help with all of our questions.

The room was tiny, but then so was the price, and it had everything needed for a very pleasant four nights. It was a lovely old building in a lovely old town, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the veggie breakfast was one of the best I remember from anywhere.

This pub/ hotel is much than it looks from the outside. The rooms are very well done and the daily servicing and attention to detail was above and beyond expectations for a short stay. The staff are excellent. The food in the restaurant was really good. You couldn’t want for more what private parking and an excellent town centre location it was perfect for our stay.
