It’s great, good position, feels secure and plenty of parking. The interior is really well done and very nice to spend time in. Very modern kitchen with more kitchen equipment than you could ever need and a really nice fridge with ice and cool water on tap. The beds are super comfy, there’s a telly in pretty much every room including the bathrooms and a full sky package with movies too! Stewart and Josh can’t do enough for you and have really gone the extra mile to make this place welcoming, luxurious and comfortable.

by far the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying in , it was so cheap and dirty I can honestly say if if I were paid the £80 paid for the night plus £1000 on top I would never ever in my wildest dreams except please please please don’t stay here

With the canal running straight through the town there was ample opportunity to have a stroll & many cafes, bars etc for the weary traveller. The Park at the bottom end of town was lovely & the war memorials & historic connections Appenine Wall, Romans etc was interesting. The large children's play area was busy & the children seemed to enjoy the facilities. The main street is quite long & the variety of shops was very pleasing with virtually now boarded up premises.
Beautifully renovated hotel, the food was a highlight!
The hotel is recently renovated but keeps snippets of its history.
We had booked 3 bedrooms, as we have a big family. Unfortunately the beds weren't suitable for two members of our group - both over 6ft. In general the rooms were a little snug, as we didn't spend too much time in the room it was manageable.
I would stay at this hotel again, if I was visiting Glasgow again.
I loved everything about the hotel. The location is beautiful and picturesque, you can enjoy a walk aby time of the day either in the hotel gardens or the surrounding woods, the staff was beyond helpful and polite, the room was high standard, beautiful and clean and the food and beverages amazingly tasty. This hotel is always going to be my go to if I'm ever near Glasgow ever again.
This was our 3rd stay at the Broadcroft in a year as we have family who now live in Kirkintilloch.
The staff here are outstanding. We frequently stay in 4 or 5 star hotels in Scotland and the staff at the Broadcroft are without doubt the best trained, professional and welcoming.
The rooms are small but super clean. The shower room is excellent.
This is a beautiful hotel that has recently been renovated to a high standard. The staff were lovely. So attentive and friendly, we felt well looked after throughout our stay. Our breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and in a lovely setting. Would highly recommend to anyone planning on visiting there area. 😁
A lovely old house and a welcoming and very comfortable hotel with good food and friendly staff.
It is conveniently situated near cycle routes and can store bicycles securely overnight making it an excellent stopover for cyclists.
This was our third visit and we will be back.
Great hotel. First class service.staff were wonderfull. Food was marvellous. Beautiful bar and restaurant. Will go back if in area and would strongly recommend anyone to stay there.only downside is there is no lift but you are well advised about that. Great value for money.
It was like a home from home, we had everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Loved the electric blankets on the beds, en suite bathroom made a big difference. The walk to Kirkintilloch by the water was lovely, recommend it.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially Alistair that was in the Bar at night and there first thing in morning serving breakfast. So helpful and a credit to the hotel.
