The cottage was perfect for us and had everything we needed. The mezzanine was cosy and quirky with carpeted stairs so no problems to stay 4 adults in the property. Great communication with clear instructions was also given so no issue what so ever. Close drive to most Cornwall attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

We got a free upgrade due to maintenance work on our original booking! We were very pleased as it was absolutely beautiful.
It was very private, peaceful, and a home away from home. Clare was very attentive and got back to us ASAP if we messaged about anything at all.

Kate and Terry were particularly welcoming hosts. We were greeted with a welcoming drink and cake. The fresh milk for the bedroom was a lovely touch. The room and shower were excellent and the breakfasts were wonderful. The views were splendid and the goats were fun.

Helston has a long history, interesting shops and is a good starting point for visiting beaches, geology and ice cream!Since the by-pass, the town centre is safer! Big Salisbury's, Lidl. Access to the Lizard, Porthleven, Praa sands Kynance Cove all within 20 minutes travel. I stayed at the Premier Inn with its restaurant, car park and spacious room.

The quietude of the space was so right for me.
The quietude of the space was so right for me. Lizard Peninsula easy to get to and only took a few minutes. I loved the Llamas and donkey pottering around the site. Because the property had a balcony and good outdoor furniture. I could sit there and view the sea in the background.

Nice little shopping area good selection of shops.Lovely boating lake with swans etc.Spent quite a bit of time there. Ate at Wetherspoons as other pubs in town not doing food at time of our visit.Staff shortages?Easy to walk into Helston from where we stayed .Large Tesco opposite our accomodation.

Helston is a lovely little place.
Helston is a lovely little place. There are nice pubs and places to eat, especially the burger place called Boo Koos . A few good shops to peruse, would stay here again as it makes a good base for exploring the area.

Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape.
Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape. However, the surrounding area is wonderful. Porthleven, small but very friendly and welcoming. Location ideal for exploring the St Ives, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, and the coast from Porthleven round to Falmouth. Wonderful memories 💖. Thank you.

Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah who helped with advice of local attractions within the area. There was a choice of breakfast. Parking on site was also included. We would recommend Monterey Pines for people who are looking for a homely welcoming guest house.

Jackie and herstaff were very friendly and offered excellent cooked breakfast. The B&B is kept on a tip top level. We stayed 2 nights and are very pleased with this property.
