The Cricketers was a pretty, traditional pub in a village. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and they looked after us well. The food was very good, especially the breakfast. We had the added bonus of an unexpected view of the northern lights, which was very exciting!

The character and rural charm, the history.

The character and rural charm, the history. It was a task to find the place but I did enjoy traversing the winding roads through the countryside a great way to get the true essence of life in rural England
