Beautiful, clean and stylishly appointed, great breakfast from room with a sea view.
A lochside lodge, sitting on the northern shore of Loch Gairloch, with sea and mountain views and easy access to sandy beaches.

The staff very nice and helpful. Almost nobody in the hostel, I was alone in my 6 beds room during 2 days. Big kitchen, big living room, big bathroom, and so quiet. The location is nice when you have a car, cause it's a bit far from everything. The view is great, near the beautiful beach.

This was a fantastic experience. Clean and comfy.
A super friendly and very attentive host, Ross, made us feel right at home at the ‚Corriness House‘.

Beautiful room and spectacular scenery of the Loch . Would definitely recommend and deserve 10 out of 10. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners

Great place with spectacular, inspiring scenery, a nice little town with good facilities, nice cafe and farm shop as well as an excellent museum. The only downside when we visited was the local chippy only opened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday!😊

Gairloch is an easily accessed centre from which to explore the western Highlands; it also has some very acceptable sandy beaches. There are plenty of hotels and B&Bs in Gairloch, but many are closed in winter.

Glass bottomed boat trip to see the seals highly recommended. Knowledgeable skipper who allowed some of the children to drive the boat and earn a certificate.
Gairloch Museum, in a former nuclear bunker, is really well laid out and interesting for adults and children. The café is great too, with a view from its terrace.
Don't miss Inverewe Garden, and allow several hours to walk around this surprising collection of trees & plants which really shouldn't be able to thrive here! Great views too.

The accommodation here is amazing.
The accommodation here is amazing. It has friendly staff and the most beautiful view, from the lounge room it has one of the most breath-taking views in all of Scotland.
The hostel is remote from the main town (think car / not walk), but the caravan park is close enough to walk (15 mins). We experienced an unexpected 5 star dining experience at this restaurant and ate like kings!
The professional way we were greeted and looked after. Friendly, polite, helpful staff with an excellent, caring manageress. The booked food in the evening was excellent value for money. A good set up at breakfast time with yet another kind and helpful member of staff, in one of the busiest hotels we have stayed in over the last 10 days.
A brilliant location with excellent walks nearby. Lovely for tiring out an over energetic dog.
Location and views amazing, on the flat to appreciate sea front, all staff genuinely friendly, very large room, massive bed (biggest on the whole NC500), good food with a mix of alternatives to fish, Hugh portions. Good breakfast. Not a boutique style decorated hotel but finished to a high standard compared to other hotels stayed in on this trip. Would like to return for a summer beach holiday.
Our double room was larger than expected because we had booked at short notice and were expecting a 'small double' but had been upgraded prior to arrival. The bathroom was excellent and, in the morning, there was a first class buffet breakfast in a near spotless breakfast room. The location of the hotel, alongside the loch, was a delightful setting.
Lovely location in Gairloch, only a five minute drive from the pier for excursions. Emma was a great host with lots of breakfast options, with a lovely modern and clean room overlooking the bay. Living room was nice spot to hang out in the evening, and a few options for dinner within walking distance too. Would come again!
The Millcroft is a worn-out hotel. The leather chair in the room was worn and the entire room looked tired and certainly not worth the money we paid for it. Breakfast was poor. Very few options to choose from and my poached egg tasted like vinegar. The staff was rushed and stressed. Would not stay here again.
The view, the view, and the view. A few steps and you're literally in the water, much, much closer than local hotels. We slept with the window cracked open to listen to the sea. We will be back next year for sure. Gairloch is a stunning place in its own right with everything you need.
Absolutely fantastic accommodations! Our room (#2) was spacious and beautifully appointed with modern and thoughtful amenities, and the view of the lake is sublime. Emma is a wonderful host who will go above and beyond for her guests. We would love to return one day and stay longer!
Absolutely enjoyed the stay. The staff was very friendly and so helpful. Made us feel comfortable all way through. They were so good with my pet as well. Highly recommend Gairloch hotel not just for the stunning view but also for their warm and welcoming staff. You won't regret.
Very much appreciated the later check in which allowed me to make the most of the dry weather. Lovely comfortable accommodation. Very clean and cosy. Slept soundly. Has great views in good weather. Close to all the spots I wanted to photograph. Nice hosts.
Lovely decor of the hotel, keeping its original features and views from the lounges, was exceptional. Big bedrooms and bathrooms, clean throughout. The bathroom had lovely underfloor heating, plus large fluffy towels, much to my partners liking.
We appreciated the space and cleanliness of the room. The owners of this B&B are very kind (once again thanks for everything!). They think of everything. This B&B is also very close to the starting points of some interesting hikes near Gairloch.
Accommodation is very close to Gairloch port, beach and town centre. Gairloch is a really nice place and a good 'basecamp' for exploring the Western highlands. Mobile phone service at the accommodation was fairly good, as was the TV and DVD.
We loved the location of this hotel. The falconry is also amazing and we booked a experience for our son which was great value for money. He loved it. The hotel inside is lovely and the views from the lounge, breakfast rooms are beautiful.
There is a restaurant/bar on-site with excellent food. Loved the outside patio near the old bridge. The staff was pleasant and we had fun with the other guests. Hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere.
The hotel is in the centre of Gairloch. The room had a separate seating area and a very good modern bathroom. The food was generally good when you got it.
The hotel is situated in a quiet and pleasant location. Accommodation was comfortable and met our needs. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.
