very handy for the ferry. Nice room and great communication with the owner. Unfortunately the breakfast we ordered was not available but we were alerted beforehand and the owner adjusted our booking.

Your information said no breakfast. Not true, There was a kitchen upstairs well laid out by which we could prepare our own breakfasts. We only stayed one night, and we only arrived at midnight , and were on our way by 9.00am.However, the owner very kindly stayed up to meet us.

The breakfast was sooo good, and a huge variety offered with the friendliest smile and a lovely chat. It was so easy to get to from the ferry and has met all my expectations, especially when arriving at 3am.

Everything. Perfect location. Staff friendly and helpful. Great dinner and bar. Room was far better than expected and the pictures don't do it justice. The breakfast was delicious. Staying again on our return in 2 weeks.
Ideally located midway between Fishguard and Newport in north Pembrokeshire, Y Garth Luxury Bed and Breakfast adults-only guest house offers elegant, spacious bedrooms with free WiFi.
It's a great base location for exploring the area.
It's a great base location for exploring the area. There's plenty of nice coastal walks that are only a short drive away. The town itself is quite small but still has plenty to offer. There's history with the fort and last invasion gallery, the lower town is very cute and you're spoiled for choice with food and drink - lots of very good quality cafes, restaurants and pubs.

In Fishguard to take ferry to Ireland so didn't see much of it. Looks a nice coastal town but obviously the ferry port overwhelms the town.
If using the ferry services directions are clear and plenty of space to park and wait if arrive early.
Stayed overnight in The Ferryboat which was lovely and highly recommended.

A lovely little town and great base to explore local sites and coves. Great walking, lovely quaint streets, easy shopping at the CoOp. Exploring pathways and surrounds was fascinating.
A short drive to St David’s. We were there mainly for the Challenge Fishguard Triathlon. A great event.

Fishguard is a relatively small port/leisure town in North Pembrokeshire. There are pleasant walks and old properties and chapels. Good views out to the hills and sea from various viewpoints, Shopping choices are somewhat limited but there is a largeish Co op Stores and many independents. There is a pleasant cafe facing the Square opposite St Mary's Church (Bopty Cafe) and the Royal Oak Pub has a large terrace to the rear with sea views and offers a variety of food and drink with an outside bar in good weather, Live jazz was being played outside when I visited, there was a soap box derby and fair in the park and a number of other folk and music/dancing events which made for a happy and civilised summer feel. A walk along the breakwater at Goodwick is pleasant or a day trip to Ireland on the ferry. There is a good local cinema showing many current films and live showings. The gallery along west street (Miles Pepper) is worth a trip. Check out the Fishguard Music Festival in September and Aberjazz in the Spring.

Distance between dock, village, train station and waterfront...
Distance between dock, village, train station and waterfront are quite large, so transport is needed. Some sort of shuttle service would be great as it is often windy and wet, so walking would be challenging.
Easy parking. Spotlessly clean everywher, Very quiet location but convenient for many facilities and easy access to the coast, Fishguard Harbour, town and other amenities. I booked a single room but the size of the room was more than adequate and very comfortable and the bathroom appeared new/nearly new. Excellent breakfast choices and plenty of everything, An extremely nice breakfast room with modern decor. Service friendly and excellent.
The cottage was spacious, stylish, and beautiful, filled with amazing art and artefacts that were also for sale. There are gardens front and rear, and it's located on a quiet road, close to the town centre of Upper Fishguard. A welcome sign and gift were a lovely touch. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The owner is very helpful and responsive to any queries or requests. We loved it and would stay again.
We had an amazing stay in Fishguard, it was cozy and in a great location to explore!
breakfast was perfect, you get a lovely fruit platter and a full breakfast + cereals available!! so generous.
The couple who runs this B&B are super sweet and friendly, they could answer any questions we had about the area, thank you!!
This is a small but comfortable hotel. The attached restaurant is excellent. We had the best meals of our two week visit to the UK here. The hotel and restaurant are owned and run by the chef. He holds himself to a very high standard. They were very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with our stay.
We know Fishguard very well. We had seen the cottage in our earlier explorations, and knew that it was well located. The garden was the best part of the cottage. It was very quiet and we were happy to 'migrate' from the upper terrace to the lower terrace (and listen to the birds). Good bathroom.
A great base to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline. A very cosy, clean and comfortable studio apartment with an absolutely stunning view of Fishguard. The host Gary was very friendly and helpful. We’d love to return.
Steve was a super host, welcoming and so friendly.Very comfortable bed and all necessities provided for. Will definitely be back when in Fishguard again. Thanks Steve for all and the booklet.
Great communication with host. Very comfortable accommodation for my uncle and aunt who are 88 and 90 years old and staying a long weekend in Fishguard. Everything on the ground floor.
Great in town location. Within walking distance of many dining options. Also great hiking options. Easy drive to other Welsh treasures, particularly spectacular is St. David.
The view was spectacular and the bed and accommodations were very comfortable! Our host was friendly and helpful and we wished we could have spent more time in this lovely area!
