Great location, out of town but a short drive in (with lots of parking available in Epping) and close to the motorway. The atmosphere is very relaxed, with the continental breakfast available at any time.
Des was really helpful, telling us about the local area and events. He was very friendly and accommodating and really made our stay.

It has a full Indian takeaway restaurant on site which is nice, and the staff are very accommodating. They met my requests and were particularly helpful. When our domino’s pizza never showed up after the restaurant on site was closed, I asked one of the staff if there was literally anything me and my girlfriend could eat, and he made us tikka masalas and pilau rice which saved the night. 10/10 for customer service and going the extra mile to help us.
Located 26 km from Stansted Airport and just minutes from the M11/M25, this refurbished 14th century former coaching inn now offers comfortable en suite accommodation in this quiet village.

It was nice for the price, quite close to the bus stop, and the bus took me to the Stansted airport at 6 am which was the most important thing to me :)
The Delta Hotels by Marriott Waltham Abbey is just a 20-minute drive from Stansted Airport and 30 minutes from Central London. Guests get free WiFi in the public areas.
We use to live in this area and was nice to re-visit.
We use to live in this area and was nice to re-visit. Still have family in the area, which we visited and also attended a funeral. Very nice area within easy reach of underground etc.... if you wish to visit London etc...

I was there for a family wedding and hadn't been to Epping before. People were friendly and place had a nice character to it. I saw courtesy from motorists to other motorists/pedestrians that was refreshing in this day & age and is a credit to the people of Epping. Thumbs up for Epping from me.

Really nice town, lots of independent shops and restaurants...
Really nice town, lots of independent shops and restaurants as well as more familiar high street names. The main road is always busy, which was a bit of minus, but to be expected so close to London. The forest and country walks are all around even though it’s only a few miles from the M25 and M11, it still felt as if you were very rural.
the accommodation was excellent, very neat and clean. The host was kind, accommodating, always ready to help. A very nice and pleasant person. The breakfast is perfect and abundant.
if I ever come back to Epping or close by, I will always look for that particular house.
beautifully arranged garden, flowers, grass, hedges, very tidy.
we had a great time.
the room is large, spacious, the bed is comfortable!
Beautiful hotel. Very friendly team behind an excellent owner. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. The food was excellent, I had the pasta. Well presented and tasted even better. Great for a weekend away or a romantic get away. Not far from the central line into central London, but the calm of a local town.
The property has a cool design and despite being an old building it feels updated and modern. It’s conveniently located right on Epping high street, only a short walk from the tube. the staff were all excellent, I was greeted with a complimentary welcome Prosecco despite arriving out of hours.
This is our second stay here and had booked and on arrival we was given a free upgrade to a larger room with a garden view of Epping Forest bed was very comfortable staff very friendly and helpful and great sleep nice feel about the place great value for money would definitely stay again
It was such a shame as the hotel was lovely and staff were so so nice but we had no sleep the room we were in was so nosiy and we were up all night with the sound. Really wanted to come back to stay another night but based on the value for money vs the lack of sleep i dont think we would
There was good communication from Des which made it easy to access the guesthouse when we needed to. There were extra towels and pillows available and lots of tea and coffee. It was really close to Epping, where there are lots of places to eat, and not far from Epping Forest.
Lots of biscuits and tea/coffee, power points, managed to find WiFi signal (as phone network was hit and miss). Indian restaurant on site, lots of parking. Reasonable value for money, but expect prices to go up as demand goes up. Not many other places to stay in Epping.
Loved this place, wish I could have stayed longer. No room at the airport hotels and this was my closest option. Lovely. I arrived late and left very early, but I was very comfortable and felt safe and welcomed.
Des is a lovely host and so helpful. The house is lovely and spacious, our bedroom was huge with a lovely big bath and views across the pasture. Its a great location for Epping and The Barns (weddings).
The location was most interesting, Forest lodge used to be a livery yard and I worked there. It was close enough to Epping so I was easily able to get to the underground station for a trip to London.
Really under sales its location, right on the edge of Epping Forest. Fantastic for walking, cycling trips. Great value and really fantastic dinner and cake shop on site.
