location is very good with nice walk along canal into Skipton. views from our room on canal side were spectacular. Breakfasts were excellent with a good variety of foods available, with friendly service from waitress staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed out 2 night stay, the food was delicious, the outside area is very inviting, the location next to the river was perfect and to top it all off the weather was glorious! What more could we ask for!

There is not really a lot in Embsay itself but it is a good base to travel around the Yorkshire country side. There is a very good pub in the village which does lovely food but one of our party was Vegan and they didn't have a Vegan choice.
