Comfortable room with a good view. Continental breakfast always had plenty of choices. Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Plenty of off road parking. Great fluffy and large bath towels. Coffee and biscuits replenish every day in the room with the option of free drinks from a machine downstairs 24/7.

Excellent location and food (the reason for our trip). I had been there to eat before but never stayed. The room was recently refurbished and well decorated but was really small. I mean tiny! Not a problem as we only stayed the night arriving late and leaving early but not suitable if you want to sit and read - you need to use the bar for that.

Wonderful little town with so many gems if you take the time...
Wonderful little town with so many gems if you take the time to explore! Check out the Angus McCaskill museum for some quirky entertainment; the School House for a wonderful, hearty meal; Dunvegan Castle for a fantastic history lesson and some great walking paths; Two Churches walk up to the standing stone; and Misty's for a quick bite and some ice cream. Easy-to-walk town with friendly people.

Dunvegan is in a beautiful area of Skye and centrally located with easy access to the Cullins, and Portree. The weather was rainy most of the visit but we still managed to have a wonderful time and see the sights.

Dunvegan is in the North of the island, perfect for visiting Dunvegan castle, the coral beaches, Neist Point light house, carbost and the talisker distillery. Plenty of walks in and around the area. Dunvegan suffering a wee bit like many places from lack of staff making some hotels ,restaurants having to reduce opening hours but dont let that put you off as always somewhere open . It will get better as more tourists arrive ,our trip was very much at the end of a very strange summer season .We have stayed in the area many times and will most certainly return before too long .

The cabin was beautifully built, perfectly furnished, and immaculate - we were inspired by all of the thoughtful touches. Jenny and Roland were wonderful and helpful hosts, and we can’t thank them enough for all they did to make our trip to Isle of Skye special. This experience will always have a special place in our hearts. Overall, this stay is exceptional, 10/10. We would highly highly recommend!

Everything was so thoughtful, from the homemade cookies at the counter, to Mr Stuart walking us to our room, making sure we knew everything including how to use the Wi-Fi and shower, to the homemade breakfast in the morning it was just perfect. There was even a sewing kit in the room, a rag provided to wipe off dirty boots, and wine glasses to use in the sitting area downstairs. The Loft itself is very well kept and extremely clean. The location of the Loft makes is a good base-camp for all kind of tours around the island.

Beds were great for a good sleep. Heating worked well. Great to have a washer and dryer after days of hiking. WiFi worked well. Nice to have the benefit of free entry to Dunvegan castle. Kitchen is massive and allowed us to enjoy some meals there versus eating out.
