We booked because of the close proximity to the airport and an extra early flight - literally a few minutes walk across from the airport
The welcome from the reception team was warm and friendly, answering any questions we had and arranging a non dairy milk alternative for me.
The room was spacious, comfortable with a good size bathroom and shower with shower gel, soap etc readily available. Towels and bedding were clean and all was well presented.
A supply of tea, coffee and biscuits were available in the room. We had a meal in the Italian Restaurant and again, were greeted by friendly , polite staff and chose our meal from a good varied menu - including diary free alternatives . The chef and his team were very accommodating and adapted my meal to specifically suit my needs. Prices were not excessive
The hotel is 300 metres from the terminal building at Newcastle Airport and a 15-minute Metro ride from Newcastle city centre. It has free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and a cocktail bar.

Good location not far from the airport or the charming Gosforth high street with an number of restaurant and pubs. Modern and clean facilities with friendly staff and an overall seemless experience. I didnt have it but my family took breakfast and I understand it was really good! Seemless check in experience.

I stayed for 2 nights while on a trip for training & work.
The restaurant staff at breakfast on Thursday, 16th & and Friday, 17th of May, were an absolute pleasure.
I was greeted warmly by pleasant charming girl (unfortunately, I don't know her name). I was in a hurry to catch up with work, so she went above and beyond to look after me, offered free bag for food collection, a takeaway coffee cup, and then she went to find me a tupperware so I could get some hot food.
This kind, generous, and caring girl is an outstanding & beautiful staff member showing how proper hospitality and attention should be. She made me feel like I'm in my home away from home.
The food was brilliant, hot, and fresh. There was a decent selection for hot food, and also pastries, cereal, porridge, fruit, fruit juices, etc.

Everything you want & need is in the town centre, plenty of shops, good public transport, buses & trains. Easy access to A19 & A1, so very conveniently located for visiting other attractions & destinations. Good selection of takeaways & pubs.
Breakfast on the first day was Brilliant. Great scrambled eggs, Northumberland sausage very tasty, beans just right, hash browns expertly cooked. Overall Great. staff very friendly and competent. The room was a good size. nice firm mattress.
The Interior of all public rooms was lovely. Old world style with period original features from its former life as a barn
Plenty of parking near the accomodation. Very handy for Northumberlandia site
We initially chose this hotel as it suited us arriving by road and friends arriving by air. It certainly exceeded our expectations. Great situation close to travel links and it was clean and comfortable for the travel weary. The menu was varied and the food was delicious. Well stocked bar with quirky seating areas and decor.
Lovely atmosphere in the adjoining pub and the menu looked great although we didn't get a chance to eat there. Very comfortable and quiet room.
Staff very helpful and posted back a scarf that I left in the room.
Will efinitely stay again when we next go to Newcastle.
It was very easy to check in and check out. The breakfast was substantial and very, very well cooked. Our room was very conveniently on the ground floor, perfectly temperate and no noise was experienced.
We will definitely return when next in the area.
Great for being away with work for a week or more. A lot more comfortable than a hotel room. Great size, off street parking, very nice bathroom and a very large and comfy bed. Internet very fast, allowing for streaming without any issues.
We were very satisfied with our stay at Quarrie House. Everything about the place suited our requirements. Very friendly couple. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. We will be back again as we visit relatives in Cramlington.
Location was perfect for me, driveway for parking, good shopping facilities in Cramlington, several beaches a very short drive away, Seaton Delavel Hall on your doorstep if you want some local history.
Great location, close to Newcastle, but very quiet and just a walk to Northumberlandia. The hotel was amazing and even the food in the pub was a pleasant surprise.
The hotel is lovely and clean. The location is good (we wanted a quiet location not in the city), as the Lady of the North is behind the hotel. Ample free parking.
