I said our recommendations were not met due to close proximity but Ellie was great and tried her best but was not possible so I have no problem! The hotel rooms were great- couldn’t fault them!
Thankyou to Ellie she had to put up with a million questions from me 😂

although I was only there for a short time I enjoyed my stay. the town was close to my hotel and it was clean and tidy. there is plenty to do if you have children. I had a meal at the local chip shop which I believe was called geo on the main high ST. very good food and service. I visited some shops and the staff in the shops where in good spirits and helped the customers.

We just wanted a couple of quiet nights away,
For a family with young children who are on a budget it’s a good way to get away for a few days. Weather plays a big part but the beach isn’t bad, the pier and amusements can easily kill a rainy afternoon plenty of places to eat and drink Fairly cheap and basic seaside town but it’ll keep the kids happy

I think Clacton-on-Sea is a lovely town.
I think Clacton-on-Sea is a lovely town. The garden walk at the seafront is beautiful any time of the year; there are plenty of seats. There are loads of reasonable restaurants in Clacton and lots of activities for children. There is a very good Wetherspoon pub near the seafront. A good range of shops.

Clacton not too bad.
Clacton not too bad. But Jaywick where the caravan was is terrible, down and out people everywhere and run down properties. Fly tipping on the road to site.
We had two nights but only stayed one night as couldn’t wait to get home
The caravan is very spacious, plenty of room in the open plan kitchen living room, nice terrace too and the kitchen is fully equipped if you like cooking. The walk to the seafront is about 45 minutes but you can always order a cab as well. Location of the caravan is right next to all facilities on camp which is very big. The owner who greeted us and gave us the keys was very nice and friendly which frankly started our experience on a very positive note. Highly recommend this place, you'll be surprised about what is has to offer.
The best B&B I have stayed in.....Comfort-Cleanliness-Value for money was exceptional, with a fabulous breakfast included in the price.......Carol and her team were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble....I need to stay in Clacton 2/3 times a month and usually stay in one of the Hotel chains...Not anymore The Chudleigh is my now go to accommodation and can not recommend the whole package highly enough.....Well done and thank you.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Both rooms were excellent with the seaview. Unfortunately, we had to check out early and missed the breakfast. We were there to attend a funeral from Clacton on Sea to Colchester Cemetry and were not able to make it back to the hotel.
Overall rating: Excellent
Hope to visit again
Thank you for the hospitality
Lovely caravan on the end so very peaceful lovely decking and such comfortable beds.

Kevin was amazing and so friendly will definitely be returning just a short drive from clacton sea front and the outlets.
The whole experience was a joy, the hotel has been modernized and the facilities were excellent. We will definitely be using the hotel again. The breakfast was also excellent and the service in both the bar and the restaurant was first class.
Fresh fruit, cereals, milk tea and coffee bread and jams all supplied in the room and topped up each day pleasant owners who are prepared to supply any local information required clean tidy and ample room and only 5 mins walk from seafront
I like the location, the staff were very kind and helpful. The facilities were spotless. Felt more like a hotel than a guest house a lot of care and attention goes into the running of this establishment. Really first class experience.
We stayed in a suite with a sea view. The room was fabulous. The staff were absolutely fantastic. It was a special Birthday with my mum and my sister and we had a super time. Thank you all at Royal Hotel.
