We have stayed at The Kenwood many times over the years and Room 237 was the nicest yet.
The OYO Flagship Sheffield City Centre offers modern accommodation overlooking the River Don. Sheffield train station is a 10-minute walk away and the M1 is only 10 minutes' drive away.

Great customer service at reception. Friendly and helpful. This is a budget hotel so expect what you pay for. That said, room was big, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Smart TV, WiFi and secure locks on the door.
Breakfast included 👍

the hotel is in a good position when visiting close to tram that takes you into Sheffield centre, parking available and the lay out of the hotel is good and looks appealing, staff very pleasant, main bedroom area nice and well equipped.
Great little village with lovely village green.
Two pubs ,one a five min drive up very steep hill.
The old schoolrooms tearooms very nice and the recently opened bistro looks great but didn’t get chance to try it.
Damflask reservoir on the outskirts of the village well worth walk round.

While the property is in the Bradfield area, it is actually in the tranquil village of Dungworth which is a is true haven away from Sheffield and invites the most pleasurable, though hilly, walks. The walk around the Damflask Reservoir was particularly good and took in Low and High Bradfield - both of which are very attractive.
The property could not have been better equipped and was thoroughly clean in every way - a joy to stay in!

Gorgeous. so much to offer, so many beautiful walks, could quite easily have stayed much longer. considering moving up there in later life. locals all so friendly too!
Loved walking to all of the reservoirs, Dale Dike, Strines, Damflask and Agden. Stanage edge is nearby along with Padley gorge, Ladybower reservoir and Win Hill, Rivelin Valley trail and Wyming brook also.
Bradfield on foot or by car is quite easy to get around.
We cooked for ourselves however here were plenty of places to go out and eat not too far. We did get dinner from the chip shop one night, really really nice.

High Bradfield has an excellent Pub in a very picturesque village with beautiful views from the outside seating area. The Church is interesting and the village provides an excellent walking centre. Low Bradfield has a Pub and an excellent tea house. There are two reservoirs you can walk around, or for the more energetic the Moors provide a bracing work-out!

"PADLEY FARM" is in the village of DUNGWORTH, three miles from the picturesque village of BRADFIELD that does get very busy. Parking there can be a problem. "THE PLOUGH" in Bradfield is a great pub with a large car-park and lots of outdoor tables. If you don't want to eat and drink in a pub, then go to "THE SCHOOLROOMS" - a brilliant cafe with a car-park and outside tables. After eating and/or drinking in Low Bradfield, take a walk beside DAMFLASK RESERVOIR (or around it if you need a really long walk).

Sadly children ran up and down wooden stairs which we kept hearing.
Also guest doors kept slamming which we kept hearing also.
People standing outside window talking loudly on mobile phones annoying - bad place to put table & chairs by bedroom window!
Accommodation was lovely- just noise from guests was disappointing.
