The cottage is super comfortable with gorgeous views of the mountains, loch and if you get lucky like we did, deer. Everything you need to dine in if needed. Lots of streaming services if your in at night which I rarely see at other places I stayed. Kimmy, the host couldn't be more friendly or delightful to deal with. Can't rank these guys highly enough. Best interaction and stay I've had so far in using Booking.com all these years. They're amazing.

A great village to base yourself in. Lots of activities on offer to suit all interests and a number of eateries to choose from. You don't need to travel that far to outer lying villages which also have well established set ups for tourists/ visitors.

Ballachulish is a small town in a great location - so much good hiking near by. The best thing about the town itself is the Laroach Restaurant. The dishes were so unusual, interesting, and tasty. Try the sweet potato soup if it is offered.

attractive village next to a loch.
attractive village next to a loch. Handy reasonably short drive to Glencoe chairlift.
Good place to stay for winter sports enthusiasts because if the mountain closes for bad weather Ballachulish has some good walks down by the loch and in the woods behind at low altitude so milder and more sheltered from the wind. so there is something to do and enjoy.
Good spar shop to get supplies if you are self catering.

Property is in a beautiful location, views that you can only imagine on a postcode. spacious apartment, facilities are all available for you to use cooker, microwave, kettle, dishwasher. easy to get to close towns if you fancy something a bit different. Shopping is in a near town fort William, glencoe village isn’t far. The properties garden has a lovely little entrance into the mountains for tow lovely little walks with unbelievable views.
the house and room/bathroom was absolutely terrific. the owners went above and beyond to make us comfortable, inviting us to enjoy their outdoor area, offering us countless refreshments and offering suggestions of nearby restaurants. the hosts even made us breakfast for the road since we couldn’t stay. they also supplied us with water and snacks for the road!
they are lovely people and we would stay again in a heartbeat!
The atmosphere / vibe of the Inn, the location, the food, the staff, the amazing bar and restaurant out the back. Bonus - it was adults-only. Local musicians came and played for us on the Sunday night which really made our evening. The room was cozy, warm, the beds were really comfortable, and the views outside when you wake up of the mountains are incredible!
The location was superb for walking & exploring Glencoe & the restaurant (Boots Room) was cosy serving wholesome, good food after a day walking. The staff were very friendly. The rooms in the Inn were small & a little dated & in need of refurbishment but more than adequate after a days hill walking with comfy beds. Overall very enjoyable stay.
Warm and cosy, clean, great amenities, very quiet - close enough to Ballachulish (5 mins?) to be convenient but far enough to be private. This was our second stay in a very short period, having enjoyed our initial stay so much. Welcoming host. Old, established property that has been nicely modernised.
Great little guest house in Ballachulish. Neat and tidy and in a good location to get to Glencoe and surrounding highlands. Best part was owner Johnny's hospitality. Super friendly, happy to chat, and cooked up a great breakfast. Would recommend.
We had a unique stay - a fantastic massage for an hour each in the lodge with cheese and Prosecco.
Situated just outside of Glencoe. We bought some provisions as it’s a drive to local restaurants that need to be booked.
The owners of Ballachulish house are welcoming people and we were delighted we stayed there. The service was second to none. We will definitely choose to stay there when we go back to Noth west Scotland.
Picturesque setting in the woods. Very clean, with good level of privacy between cabins. Near to Lochs Leven and Linhe, Ballachulish village and Glencoe mountains. Fort William is a short drive away.
It is located just by the loch with a great mountain view from the garden. The room was spotlessly clean. WiFi worked well. The host provided helpful information about local restaurants.
Separate accommodations connected to owners residence. 2-bedroom, 2- bath with kitchen and laundry. beautiful setting and close proximity to the highlights of the Highlands
