It's a cute town with vineyards all around. Nice property. Ofcourse it's not a luxury hotel but more of a bed and breakfast Pitstop. We did a over night as we were transiting to Germany from Switzerland.

Great, modern rooms in recently renovated buildings. Very comfortable beds and a helpful parking nearby (need to reserve it with the hotel). Would certainly book it again.

Quality and choice at breakfast was superb: fresh bread, croissants, cheese, charcuterie and much more! Location is excellent, just inside the old walls of the town but very quiet at night.
Offering free WiFi and free private parking, P'tit Biscuit is located in Riquewihr, at the beginning of Riquewihr Christmas Market.

The owners greated us. They are really nice and friendly. They baked a chocolate cake for us, even if we only slep one night. Very convenient place: usb cables, extra free food, etc. You are in the middle of this beautiful downtown. It's the best place we had in our visit in France.

Fly to Strasbourg Airport, 64km away, then drive or take a bus to Riquewihr. Alternatively, take a train to Colmar, 15km away, then a bus. From Paris, it's a 5-hour drive or 2.5-hour train ride to Colmar. Transfers required for public transport.
The most convenient airport for Riquewihr, France, is EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg. It's international, well-connected, and roughly 70km away, making it a practical choice for both domestic and international travellers.
Riquewihr, a small village in France, lacks public transport. However, its compact size makes it easily navigable on foot. For longer distances, consider renting a bicycle. If you're driving, park outside the village as the centre is pedestrianised. Remember, the village can be busy, so plan your visit accordingly.

One of my favorite villages in France! Easily walkable and gorgeous views. Great restaurants and street vendors, beautiful architecture, & friendly locals. Highly recommend burgers, tarte flambée, and drinks at Le Grognard. We also enjoyed a tasting at Dopff Winery.

A beautiful little town, very quaint and charming.
A beautiful little town, very quaint and charming. Numerous shops selling local products, including ceramics, glassware, textiles, food specialities, and of course wine. Good selection of restaurants in a range of price categories, from simple snacks and meals to Michelin-star fine dining. Lovely walking trails through the surrounding vineyards. A good base from which to explore neighboring villages, such as Ribeauville'.

A beautiful and cosy little town - quite a relief after the crowds and tourist stress in Colmar. On the other hand - for us was one day enough, or you should use Riquewihr as base to travel also to other towns in the region.

We were in Riquewihr for La Parade Venetienne (for the 3rd time). We had 2 diners : Au Cerf and La Grappe D'Or. The last one is to be commended.
Getting around in Riquewihr is easy because it is so compact and the different interesting sites are close to each other.

Riquewihr is stunning, if medieval buildings and cobbled streets, set on a fairly steep incline, are your thing. There are no supermarkets or places to buy tobacco products in the town, so a car is essential for those self-catering.
I wouldn't recommend for those with mobility problems, unless you have access to somewhere to keep the scooter, nor is it ideal for young kids or teenagers. Nearby Ribeavillé probably better. But if beautiful scenery, history & excellent food are what you want, go for it!.*
(*The butterfly garden on the road to Ribeauvillé (10 mins in the car) is well worth the €9 entrance fee.)
If you're feeling flush ( it is really pretty pricey!), but can't manage a trip to Kyoto, I can't recommend Au Trotthus highly enough. The Wagyu tasting menu was breathtaking, the setting gorgeous, the staff lovely, and the chef took time to come and speak to his patrons in a very informal, friendly way, explaining the dishes and his passion for all things Japanese. Also, you can dress to the 9s to eat there, but you don't HAVE to. Be comfortable!
Will we be back? In a heartbeat.
The central location of the apartment allowed us to take advantage of the picturesque village infrastructure such as restaurants and shops and sights by just walking outside of our building. We rate staying Riquewihr over any of the neighboring towns due to its charm and compact size - unlike e.g. Ribeauville. A very special trip we recommend is the close-by jardinsdespapillons.fr where you walk through a large greenhouse watching dozens of exotic butterflies flying around you.
Our stay at P'tit Biscuit was absolutely amazing! It is right there in the heart of the picturesque Riquewihr village. Couldn't ask for anything more central. It was spacious enough for our family of 5. The host was super hostile! He left us a bottle of champagne, sweets, cakes and so much more!! All basics like coffee, sugure, oil, margarine, salt etc was there! It was perfect and so cozy! Thank you Frédéric!! It was one of my favourite stays ever!!
Superb apartment. Roomy, cosy, super clean and with very nice design elements. We (family of 5) felt immediately at home. The location is at the heart of Riquewihr. The host is very proactive, helpful at all times - a great host. In addition, we really appreciated that the apartment offers private parking 400m from the place, just outside of the pedestrian zone. We would definitely stay in the Maison Rouge again when in lovely Riquewihr.
THE WORST BOOKING EXPERIENCE EVER - WE DIDN'T GET IN THE APARTMENT! We called the host, but we couldn't reach them, we sent multiple emails, no answer. They didn't even bother if we could get in the flat. They didn't leave us the code to get the keys out of the security box. Also, the host didn't reach out to us afterward with an apology, I am writing this 3 days after the planned stay.
Located in a quiet neighborhood very close to the center of Riquewihr (5 min walk). Free parking on premises. Room was clean, good mattress, and good shower. Breakfast was standard fair-croissants, good bread, cheese, coffee, jams, juice, etc. The owner was very nice and had suggestions where to eat and sample wine.
The location is fantastic in the old centre of Riquewihr. The communication with the host was good ant timely. The apartment is on two levels with spacy living/kitchen area on the first and two spacy bedrooms and bathrooms on the second level. The kitchen is very well equipped. I would highly recommend staying here.
The breakfast was quite good -- not only the food but the ambience was very comfortable: quiet and visually attractive. Also, the hotel personnel were quite helpful in explaining parking availability and other questions.
The location was wonderful! We spent the day walking and shopping the streets and bringing back all the things we bought. The space was large and easily fit our family. Parking was very easy and close by.
The location for visiting all of the villages in the area was fantastic. The Gite is beautiful and absolutely spotless. It is beautifully decorated, and well supplied with anything you might need.
The property is exceptional for comfort and history buffs. The host is very helpful in all aspects, yet gives you space for privacy. The location is in the center of town, yet private.
Although this is by no means a 4 or 5 star property we loved the charm, history and welcoming nature of this hotel. Location was excellent and has a gorgeous restaurant attached.
