Bed super comfy. Eclectic decor that is uplifting considering a rather boring modern building. Staff is top notch. I just didn’t figure out how to call the front desk from the room. Ideally located. Nice little espresso machine.

Great location, friendly staff, nice convenient silent rooms.
Although Mulhouse has a colourful historic centre with cobbled squares and half-timbered houses, the city is best known for its industry. Textile production shot the city into the limelight, a fact detailed in the Museum of Printed Textiles.
The world’s largest train collection is in the multi-coloured French National Railway Museum, next to the Electropolis electricity museum. The National Automobile Museum is also the world’s largest and features the Schlumpf Collection of classic cars and an exhibition track. To the east is the Parc Expo Mulhouse event centre, while west is the train station.
The heart of the city is Place de la Réunion where pavement cafes overlook the 16th-century town hall, decorated with frescoes and a 2-sided staircase. The Mulhouse Christmas market is held here at the foot of the Protestant St Stephen’s Church with its towering spire.
The Catholic church of the same name also has a tall tower, and the Tour de l’Europe is a modern skyscraper with a restaurant on top. Its 3 sides face France, Switzerland and Germany, reflecting the history of the Alsace which was under Swiss and German rule before joining France once and for all.
EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg also serves the 3 countries, and Booking.com has a good range of luxury hotels, and cheap apartments and B&Bs nearby.

Although it is a provincial town, close to Switzerland and Germany, Mulhouse is not to be missed, I was charmed by the old part of town, with its weekend bookshops, quality shops, and Alsacian restaurants, but also the car and train museums!

A beautiful city centre, very historic and pretty. Close enough to take a short drive to Basel in Switzerland and into Germany. In three days based there we visited 3 countries!
We recommend the Winstub factory to eat but make sure you book as it is extremely popular.

Seemingly just another industrial city there is plenty of top quality museums both in Mulhouse and in nearby Basel, including the Cite du Train (Mulhouse); and the Toy World Museum and the Paper Mill (in Basel). City centre is compact and walkable, plus there's a tramway that links to the railway station.

Mulhouse is an old industrial town and this is reflected in the main tourist attraction - the French national railway and car museums both of which are well worth a visit.
I was able to walk to the latter but the former involved a trip on the City's tram network which was frequent, cheap and appeared to offer a reasonable coverage of the main parts of the city.
Mulhouse is not that far from Strasbourg and Colmar and was a good base for sightseeing in the region.

We were only on a short holiday so two days was probably about right. Mulhouse is a very pleasant town. Not as pretty as Colmar which we visited earlier in the day, but still a very pleasant and friendly place to stay. We formed the opinion that Mulhouse is probably a very stress free, and attractive place to live. We enjoyed our stay and ate very well.
I arrived early so I left the luggage and went for a discover. When I returned at 3pm I was told that I had been upgraded. Absolutely amazing - from a single room I was now in a family room on the fifth floor. This hotel is like a boutique hotel, a bit quirky but a great place to stay. It's bang in the centre of Mulhouse and I was able to walk there from the station, with luggage, in 14 minutes. The charming receptionist, from 3pm onwards, was incredibly helpful about pointing me in the direction of the places I wanted to go to.
Loved our stay in Mulhouse at the Gîte des Victoires. Fantastic location in the historic centre of town and an easy walk from the train station. We had the top flat, with beautiful original wooden beams, and appreciated the thoughtful and tasteful furnishing - with everything we needed for our 4 day visit. Having a washing machine and dryer in the basement definitely a bonus for us. Communication in advance was great, and Dominique made sure we had everything we needed. A pleasure to stay here, and would definitely recommend!
Could not fault this hotel. The staff are genuinely welcoming friendly and efficient. We ate in the restaurant and dinner was delicious. Tom, our young maitre'de was a delight.
The room was large and the bed was comfortable.
The bathroom actually contained a bath.
Located so that the railway station and the town centre were within easy walking distance..was a bonus. It also has car parking. Recommended for a stay in Mulhouse.
I had a stop on my way to southern France to visit the very nice car museum which is definitely worth a visit (while Mulhouse seemed like one of the less attractive towns in Alsace to me). Spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff, central location and a parking lot. The hotel is a shared place with a senior citizen's home which I wasn't fully aware of when booking but this didn't bother me at all for the time I stayed there.
The staff was very friendly to me. The hotel is clean and comfortable and perfect temperature. It is a nice place to sleep before hitting the road again the next morning. It is nothing flashy as it is a budget hotel and it appears to be an old Ibis Budget hotel. I would for sure stay here again. The parking is so easy. The rates are perfect for me as I need affordable.
Excellent location just outside the city centre.
We had read on booking that it was noisy as the hotel was right on the street, but we only heard it in the morning when we were getting ready to go further afield. No air conditioning, fortunately the weather was pleasant and it didn't bother us at all. Family room large, with table and chairs. Bathroom in the room.
The facilities were great and new.Stuff was friendly and super helpful. Heated swimming pool and sauna were an additional element in the relaxation, especially after the walks in cold.Good distance from main train station and city center by walking, but also with bus (bus stop outside of the hotel) Definitely recommend!
Nice clean place with stunning view from the top floor. Well provided kitchen with small dish washer. Indoor swimming pool (as shown in booking.com) is next door at the Holiday Inn Hotel. It is only a few step from the apartment. The charge is 9 euro per-person. 3 restuarants are just next door.
The hotel was in the perfect location, in the city centre of Mulhouse, and close to the train station. We needed to leave early in the morning to catch a train so it was easy to check out. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable! Everything was just right for us.
This beautiful, comfortable hotel is located in the heart of Mulhouse, making it easily accessible to restaurants, public transport and shops. The staff are very friendly and most helpful. The hotel is spotless and the breakfast plentiful.
This is an elegant hotel in a beautiful older building. The room was well appointed and comfortable with a beautiful marble bathroom. It is close to the old downtown and near a tram for visiting the automobile museum.
The staff was very friendly and helpful (despite my poor French!); the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable; the price simply could not be beat.
And we enjoyed walking around Mulhouse...a surprising gem!
very convenient location on the way from germany to the south of france.
excellent varied breakfast. children's playroom (but right at the entrance) it's not very secured if you have to leave the kids alone.
The hotel is very nice, clean and its location is perfect, near to the center, restaurants and to the old quarter of Mulhouse.
The room wasn't big but it was enough, the facilities of the room were great.
Very delicious food in a restaurant downstairs
Comfortable beds
Very clean
Dog friendly hotel - the main reason we chose the hotel and only for 5 euro a night
Free parking
Very nice and friendly staff
Very helpful staff. Secure storage for our bicycles. Room clean. Beds comfortable. Location central. This is an older, 2/3 star hotel and the facilities reflect this . It is good value for money.
Stayed one night on the way to south France. It was ok location, liked the big underground parking just next to the hotel. The rooms are small. Comfortable beds, updated bathroom
