We stayed near two large town squares with loads of bars / cafes / restaurants both surrounded by wonderful architecture. We felt safe and walked back to our accommodation without any fears for our safety. It was May day and we were not sure if many places would be open but it was packed. They were tidying up a market when we arrived so we missed that but would definitely come back again, maybe for a few more days. Not sure about public transport and outside of the area we stayed in, but very pleased with our random choice.

We love Arras.
We love Arras. It's a shame we only ever stay enroute while travelling to the South of France. We've decided that we will make a proper holiday in the city in the future and take time to enjoy this vibrant place, as well as exploring the history and the WW1 battlefields.

The main reason for our visit was to visit the Christmas Market which is one of the largest we have seen. At other times of the year there appear to be plenty of other places to visit and activities in the city or surrounding area. We ate out twice there - are certainly a lot more restaurants to try!
We requested a walk in shower which was provided - thank you. The hotel is in the very centre of Arras perfectly placed for our two night stay. The hotel is extremely clean and has a lift which was handy as we were on the third floor. The large bed was very comfortable and the towels very soft and fluffy - really nice. We misplaced a mobile phone which was found by the staff and they are kindly posting it back to us so a big thank you to the staff it is very much appreciated.
There are loads of places to shop, eat and drink on the doorstep. Only a 20min walk into the centre of Arras and it’s beautiful, vibrant square.
The hotel parking was excellent, plenty of it and secure. For most people this would be a stop over hotel.
We fell in love with Arras and with this hotel back in May...the hotel is very well placed on the square...the staff are lovely and very helpful...the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is excellent! We shall be returning next May...

Great space to cook and hang out as a family after busy days exploring the area. Nice decor, bedrooms and master bath/shower area. Free parking was about 10 minutes easy walk away and communication with host was clear.
A fantastic hotel, very well placed and with parking available in Grand Place.

Would stay here again if room available

The apartment is a 1 minute walk from the main historic squares of Arras, with restaurants, supermarkets and amazing patisseries. I used Arras as a base to see the WW1 battlefields of Ypres to Amiens. Very central.
The space was very comfortable, everything you need.
Extremely clean, very close to the town and on Saturday there is a great market in the centre.
Only a 15minutes walk.
Secure car park.
