I stay at the IFACH because it’s the friendliest hotel in Calpe which is vital for me because I travel alone. With such friendly staff I never feel nervous about sitting at the bar or using the restaurant on my own. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. There is great variety of food in the restaurant. Something for everyone

The hotel is clean and conveniently located near the beach and at the center of the city. Housed within a charming old building that's been transformed into a hotel, I have a preference for these unique properties over typical chain hotels.

Calpe was lovely, plenty of bars and restaurants. We had our Maltese pooch with us and he was made very welcome.
Plenty of lovely walks around, beautiful scenery, you need good comfortable shoes. We stayed in the Old Town, this was interesting and pretty. Shout out to a fabulous restaurant: El Santo in the old town, made us very welcome and lovely food. We found Calpe to be extremely clean and friendly. :)

We enjoy walking and there were so many places to walk to.
We enjoy walking and there were so many places to walk to. Les Bassetes has a lovely cafe/bar. The old town is great to walk around as is the port area.
Playa del Arenal-Bol seems to get mentioned a lot in articles on Calp but we enjoyed Platja de la Fossa. This is the "other side" of Ifach and has many cafes and shops.
And then of course there is Ifach itself. I recommend booking a day to visit before you leave home.
The tram enabled us to visit Benidorm, Altea and Denia.

Calpe, nestled on the Costa Blanca, feels like it’s straight...
Calpe, nestled on the Costa Blanca, feels like it’s straight out of a postcard. Let me share our impressions:
Picturesque Views: The town boasts a dramatic rocky headland and palm-dotted beaches, all kissed by the Mediterranean waters. It’s a visual treat for anyone who appreciates natural beauty.
Beachside and Harbor Delights: We found the beachside and harbor area to be the prettiest part of Calpe. Strolling along the waterfront, watching boats sway, and feeling the sea breeze—it was idyllic.
Avoiding Crowded Center: However, we’re not fans of the crowded central area and bustling promenade. For us, the quieter corners near the beach and port held more appeal.
In summary, Calpe offers a delightful blend of ancient history, scenic wonders, and modern comforts. Whether you’re a nature lover or seeking relaxation, this coastal gem has something to offer.

Plenty of excellent shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.
Plenty of excellent shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Lovely walk to the Calpe rock. Easy car journey to Altea and Moraira.
Especially enjoyed walking uphill to the old town. Loved the restaurant "La Cena" and the "il Posit. Walking the sea front in Altea and up to the old church was super.

Calpe is the great place to come between December and March for as short as few days and as long as a month or so - especially if you're escaping from one of those dark, wet and cold places.
It was so nice to experience nice temperatures and see the big blue Spanish sky :)

There are buses so you can get around Calpe.
There are buses so you can get around Calpe. From the Hotel Ifach into the old town was not walkable so need bus or car. We didn't find much for eating out, mainly burgers, pastas, and pizzas. The lake was nice and , if you are fit enough, you could walk around the lake.
From the hotel Ifach to the nearest beach was just a few yards but the area was neglected and the paseo very dirty. The whole of Calpe is being developed at a great rate and all huge multi storey buildings. It is looking more like Benidorm. All the way up the surrounding mountains is also over developed spoiling any views of the mountains. Calpe is significantly changed and not for the better. We will not be going again.
The apartment was in the very best location , right on the main beach, just steps away. You felt you were on the beach , getting the seaside atmosphere when you were sitting on the covered terrace. Right amongst seafront bars and restaurants and a few minutes from buses and town.
Apartment was very spacious we are a family of 4 adults and there was plenty of room and you didn’t feel overlooked. Customer service was also 1st class before and during stay. Great communication. Maria in resort very accessible and accommodating.
This is a beautifully appointed apartment, with the best ocean view and a direct view of the Rock D’Ifach and above all, the most convenient location. Right on the boardwalk. There were even beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and even a beach bag for us to use! They thought of everything! Couldn’t ask for more!
Maria was amazingly attentive and responded very quickly to my inquiries. All the restaurant recommendations she gave us were superb. We would love to go back next year. Great Hostess!
I have been in Calp now for 4th time. And I have stayed at Sol y mar suites hotel but the view of this apartment and the location is trully better than anything. This is no doubt the BEST location if you want to visit Calp it is 2min walk from the beach, 2min form the store and 10min if you want to walk the lake and a 10min drive to the old center. There is a ton of restaurants nearby to eat in or order take away and enjoy your food with a view. Everything was clean and well organised.
As one of the cheapest hotels in calpe this is a gem. We had room 16 on the second floor. The room is tiny and has 2 separate single beds which didn't bother us. The main bonus is the terrace. We enjoyed it very much. We stayed longer because we loved it so much and will definitely come again.
The hygiene is first class. Staff is constantly cleaning and washing.
Big shower in the bathroom, plenty hot water.
Location is superb, very close to the old side of Calpe.
Lukas is an amazing host. Personally I never like staying in non-hotel type accommodation but Lukas was super flexible and helpful with everything. It's like having a personal butler. His penthouse is spotlessly maintained, everything is brand new and the huge terrace offers a stunning view. Super fast WiFi. Cannot believe what a great deal this place is.
If you're staying in Calpe don't think twice even the nicest hotels don't come close.
The location is absolutely great!
Tiny little hotel in the heart of the city ( a few steps from the main street, restaurants, shopping, and the beach, of course)
Very spacious, full of light bathroom and cozy roof terrace.
The owners made a big job to make maximum comfort from every square meter of the building and rooms.
Absolutely nice place for one or a few nights stay for one person or couple.
The hotel is located right in front of the port of Calpe. It's easy to get to the beaches and to the different restaurants. The view is also very impressing with the Penyal d'Ifac in fornt of you. The penyal d'Ifac is also very easy accessible from the hotel. We had very nice rooms with view to the port. Personnel is very professional and nice. Breakfast buffet is good, nothing fancy but complete.
The Hotel is just lovely! The staff were all very friendly, the breakfast selection the best we've had in any Hotel. The location is great too. Also loved the adults only theme! Loved our room too - just beautiful!! Will definitely go back!!
We always have a great time when we are in calpe the hotel is fantastic the staff exceptional rooms are clean and a wide choice of food in the restaurant we have been coming to the roca esmerelda for years now and it never disappoints
The villa was amazing. Great Location for exploring Calpe. Slight noise from the city cars on an evening but don't let that put you off. 3 good sized bedrooms.
Huge plot and the pool was fantastic. Don't hesitate just book it
Lovely little hotel in the heart of the old town of Calpe. Staff were super helpful and check in process was straightforward. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was memory foam and very comfortable. Would stay again
We went to Calpe to have a specific family vacation, Casa Oliana had those specifications and we enjoyed it greatly: Cozy home, private pool, barbecue and good location
I highly recommend it.
Room was spacious & clean. Perfect Beach location. Choo train stop just opposite the hotel which takes you to the main square of calpe or even up to the beautiful old town.
It was amazing, the hotel exceeded our expectations. Really friendly staff , amazing location, amazing breakfast , the rooftop was incredible just lovely things about it.
11th floor terrace view of Ocean and Calpe Rock. Awesome!!!
Great Buffet evening meal and great breakfast.
Brilliant cycling hotel.
