Overall, it was an okay place to stay for one night. We only used it as a place to sleep. There was a parking space and a grocery store next to the house. Keys were easy to find.
This small and comfortable guesthouse, situated on the oldest street in Rakvere, offers a very central location just 5 minutes away from the town centre.

A beautiful apartment in a stunning location. It's a few minutes walk from the historical centre and the castle. The apartment is beautifully renovated, keeping the old charm but with omfortable furniture and modern appliances. The host is very friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Rakvere is where my mother went to high school.
Rakvere is where my mother went to high school. Later the rest of her family (mother and sister) moved there to live. I consider it my home town away from my home town. Not only does it have great permanent attractions, like the 800-year-old castle with actors recreating life 500 years ago, but it has great occasional events. Like a punk rock festival every year. One time I was there, I unexpectedly came upon a street organ festival and spent the rest of the afternoon/evening with them. It has great places to eat with a variety of cuisines, from local to Caucasian and Asian (including sushi) and friendly, comfortable places to stay in between the eating, music and medieval life. It's small enough to get around on foot, but there are lots of buses too. You are sure to enjoy it!

A pleasant little town in the north of the country.
A pleasant little town in the north of the country. It was a pleasure to walk through the restored streets of the old town. There are plenty of restaurants with good food and a relaxed atmosphere. Would have been nice to have extended opening hours for the museums and extended time to visit the castle, but our visit coincided with the Easter holiday and this may have been the reason for the reduced opening hours.

Rakvere ise a Nice little town. There is his own atmosphere. The very first thing you have to to is go to the Old castle hill and touch the Bull desticles, its the thing must to. Then in winter time there was Every december unusual christmas tree in the head square . This year i was seeing an ordonary tree. This was also beatyful, but not Rakvere stile. So I hope that next year there ise something special tree. Of course the super markets Like "Põhjakeskus" and the " Vaala " and the spa " " " Aqua Spa " " ". Have a Nice time to visiting the Rakvere.

Nothing to do.
Nothing to do. Got a haircut at a local barbershop and she asked me, "why Rakvere? Nothing here."
The castle is pretty uninteresting and this comes from a guy who spends hours at museums reading every placard. Just stay away from this place, truly nothing worth seeing and oddly quiet.
The hotel has a very convenient location (next to the train station), although it is located almost on the outskirts of the city. The area is very quiet which helps to sleep well. The room is spacious and has everything you need to spend the night. The rooms are located on the 3rd floor (no elevator). You will have to walk about 10 minutes to the city center, but literally 5 minutes to the famous bakery and you are captivated by fresh pastries. This hotel is perfect for those who choose a hotel for an overnight stay.
The hosts were amazing - very supportive and welcoming. The place was clean, comfy, and relaxing. They even had cute new bedsheets, which is rare for non-hotel properties. We took our dogs on the trip, they also enjoyed their stay. For pet owners - the yard was open during our stay, but free-roaming is probably possible.
11/10 strongly recommend!
The house is in a beautiful historical street very close to the centre of the town. At the same time it is quiet, no big traffic and nice park across the street.
We stayed in 3 apartments and all of them were nicely renovated, with beautiful interiors, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchens and enough space.
Our car broke down, so we needed to stay in Rakvere unexpectedly. I was very happy that this apartment was available that day, because we traveled with our dog and many accommodations do not allow pets.
Very nice and cozy place! Location is very good. Rakvere linnus and grocery stores were nearby.
This is one of the best SPA hotels in Estonia! Comfortable room, excellent spa facilities, and very good breakfast.
In combination with the nice city of Rakvere with its fortress and many places for walking and enjoying nature,
this is a lovely place for a weekend.
The apartment was in the town center, close to everything. Rooms were very clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable too. Code was provided before we arrived so no hassle checking in/out. Good breakfast downstairs.
Location was nice and apartment was clean. They offer some basic toiletries (including toothpaste and toothbrush). Kitchen had basic supplies to make simple food. Street was quiet.
I arrived later that the opening hours, the communication was very good on how should I get the access to my room. Breakfast at the nearby hotel (3..4 min walk) was rich and good.
So many great things about this hotel. The bed was incredibly comfy, the sauna was lovely, the breakfast spread was impressive and there are nice trails right across the street.
Crazy nice thing was the surroundings. There is a castle, lovely village with nice old villas and lots of craft points. Super cool was hotel owned small art gallery.
Lovely, cosy stay in Rakvere city center. Well decorated and equiped room. Also proper breakfast. You can buy lunch/dinner or snacks/bakery from downstairs cafe.
