The local is very convenient and close to the train station, this saves you taxi fare as it is within walking distance. The breakfast which came with the booking was excellent. The room space was just right for my use as I wasn't staying for long. Travelers staying for long should pay particular attention to the size of the beds they choose, as the bed size in my room was small, but convenient. I stayed there because I attended a conference in Europa Park and there all hotels there were fully booked. Transport was easy by train and special bus shuttle of the event. Just sad that I did not have time to enjoy Offenburg.Angelika Prox-DamphaGermany - 10Scored 10

Offenburg is a lovely City at the edge of the Black Forest.; also home of Burda. There is a superb lake in walking distance, Gifiz, great for a safe swim. Offenburg is near Europa-Park/ Rulantica, near Strasbourg and Freiburg…. Great for exploring the entire region…. Wine tours, hiking, shopping and lounging.

a lovely place, well designed for waking and biking. lucky for me to enjoy interesting Saturday market, not sure it happens every weekend or not. Paved way is good for walk, though a little bit not easy for walking wiht luggage.

The commute to Strasbourg was easy via train, and the hotel price in Offenburg was great! The hotel is close to the train station, and it’s located near some restaurants and a Lidl. Nice, quiet, and stylish hotel; a friendly staff and decent breakfast. We also had some to explore the city and discovered a Christmas market nearby, which was far more authentic than Strasbourg.
