I booked the hotel last minute with my family and was happy with the location and the price. I read some of the reviews ahead, and I was worried, but there was nothing to be worried about. The hotel is in an excellent location in a charming building. The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. The temperature of the room was very good, breakfast was well equipped, and we even got fresh scrambled eggs made. Overall, I would recommend it and come back

Room was okay, good size. However, it seems all their rooms don't have Air Conditioning and they don't even have Fans available to borrow. They only have a few "Suite" rooms with AC for which you we paid 30eur extra per night to upgrade as we arrived.
Restaurant worker was friendly. Good service and good food options.

This pretty and quaint old town at the confluence of two rivers forming the third and with more than 450 beautiful half-timbered houses is one of the prettiest small towns in Germany that I have been to, both in terms of natural beauty and in terms of the old city. The old part of town is small enough to be easily done by foot. There is something for everyone in the city -- for nature lovers -- hills and rivers, for history lovers, for architecture lovers with the very imposing Rathaus (Town Hall) and for those in searach of stories there is Dr. Eisenbart. Do visit the place....you will not regret it.

A nice place to drop off the Motorway.
A nice place to drop off the Motorway.
Its an old and original looking town with lots to look at and nice to walk around.
We have visited before and feel now that there are too many tourist shops all fighting for trade. This could be a sign of the times but it is our opinion is spoiling the town.

Beautiful picturesque town, with plenty of restaurants - try the Cottage at Hotel Alter-Packhof, or the restaurant at The Old Town Hall. Good walks to be done along the river, and worth the hike up to the Tower for fabulous views over the town. It's easy to get around on foot, but you only need a couple of days here. We had 3 nights, and spent the last day in Kassel, as we had exhausted Hann. Munden.

Everything ! A very pleasant surprise. Wonderful rooms (especially no. 3), most comfortable hotel bed we have slept in for a while, all spic & span clean, smiley & friendly service, superb location right in centre with own private parking, fabulous breakfast (and dinner in hotel’s own Italian restaurant), and all at a very fair price. We will most definitely come again next time we are in the area!
Was very easy to get to and the free parking was a relief. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, very welcoming. They offered coffee to take with us when we checked out which was really kind of them. They also explained everything on check in which so many hotels don't do these days. The room was very cosy and nicely presented and it was a quiet hotel. A lovely area to be in as well.
We have stayed here before and it was a very good experience to visit again. The hotel is very conveniently located when we drive to the southern part of Germany. The room is nice and spacious, and with a small terrace - and there is coffee and tea facilities in the room. Very good breakfast and there is also an excellent restaurant onsite. We recommend to have dinner here.
Very nice staff - from outside the hotel we where excited to see our room . It was very clean and for one nights stay it was very nice just a little noisy from the train passing by now and then.
What surpriced us was the food who was excellent
good and nice it was BIO all of it. We will for sure visit the hotel again next time we are passing by.
The rooms were wonderful - bright, clean, and comfortable. Despite being completely fully, the hotel itself was very quiet too. The breakfast had a few vegan options (which seems relatively rare still) and the staff went above and beyond to help us find parking while the street in front of the hotel was under construction.
Very nice and spacious room - with a possibility to make coffee and tea in the room. It also had a small terrace outside. The location of the hotel is wonderful, right next to the forest, with good possibilities for hiking. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, and it is necessary to book a table since it is very popular.
The breakfast was excellent with an assortment of cheeses, meats, smoked salmon, jams and breads. The cook will make eggs to order. The hotel is solid and well constructed and in a fabulous location. The rushing water of the Werra outside your window is relaxing. A partial view of Tillyschanze Turm is a bonus.
Super cool hotel that reaally makes you feel how incredibly old it is (in a good way). Brekfast in a church from 1100 or somethig was also a perk!
The room was clean, but nothing special when it comes to comfort.
Nice staff, even though they mostly spoke german, which I am NOT good at😅
Great location at the edge of historic Hann.-Muenden, a very charming town, very friendly staff even during late check-in after 11:00 pm, good equipped hotel rooms with everything you need, good beds, very clean and well maintained, 24h coffee and free water.
Clean and comfortable room in small hotel in the main square in the old town, close to shops/restaurants/etc. Friendly owners. Good breakfast. Nice and cool in the room on a warm day.
A lovely hotel right next to the rivers. We enjoyed hearing the river from our window. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a nice room and breakfast was excellent.
Ordinary, but very efficient and practical hotel, with easy and plenty parking. Free drinks is a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent, good choice of food and drinks.
