When we arrived there had clearly been a mix up with accomadstion. This was quickly sorted by the owner who showed us to a bigger cabin. The location is stunning. Quiet and peaceful.

Very nice, calm location in the middle of jungle. You wake up with beautiful view and birds. Cosy wooden house with small fire place. There is also a kitchen with all basic equipment. I definitely recommend this place!

Set in a beautiful mountain range, close to parque de Quetzals. Lots of varied bird life in surrounding area. Cabin was very basic, which is fine if you want that experience, being in the middle of nowhere. It was well made, although cold as did not have any heating and it was unusually windy and rainy for the time of year we stayed which was supposed to be the dry season. The father of the owner was lovely, being very friendly and helpful despite not speaking any English.

Very simple, rustic experience as we expected. Very good location, with excellent view from our terrace and situated in a forest. Room was simple but clean, bathroom good, good wifi. Restaurant on site was simple, but had very good food

The hotel is as close as you can get to the entrance for the Chirripo National Park.
The rooms are nice, simple and with everything you need. The staff is really helpful and nice. There's even a physiotherapy place located in the hotel.
The bonus of this place is that you can leave your car park there until you come back from the hike and they also lend you the showers afterwards.
One of the attractions of Lucky`s Hotel & Casino is its on-site casino, plus it offers a hot tub. It also has free WiFi throughout and private parking on site.

It is a very basic hotel and rooms are functional but without much thought about interior design. OK if you need to break up your journey. Neighbourhood looks OK (no presence of the oldest profession around the casino).

Beautiful area, quiet and relaxing. Close to the Quetzales national park, but also walks from our accomadation.
Would recomend the area if you like walking.
The host at the accomadation brought us hot chocolate and cakes a very welcome surprise. Much appreciated.
