Hotel lication right on the beach was perfect, the sand was soft and rather clean and so was the sea water.
The pool was clean and if they were too cut some vegetation, it would actually look like an infinity pool.i took great pictures there.
All the bars were working and the bartenders were nice and smiling.
Anyone can find something they like eating from the restaurant, even though it is not very wide choice wise.
The guy from the pancakes was really nice and smiling and so was one older gentleman who was cleaning the tables who looked and acted very profesional.
It was nice that they included 2 sun beds and 1 umbrela în the price, because otherwise you would have to pay like 21 leva. They also had airbag conditioning which was good.
Also the parking was less than 50m away from the Hotel entrance and it was in the shade.

Albena is expensive compared to othe beach resorts in Bulgaria, but we knew about this and came because it has probably one of the best beaches in Bulgaria.
Apart from the hotel, we had meals in the Kaliopa Restaurant and the Nomad Beach Club. Both were very good.

We were charmed by the tranquility of the city.
We were charmed by the tranquility of the city. Linden flowers were blooming, so the perfume was everywhere in the air. The gentle, kind, helpful locals make us feel absolutely safe, even late in the evening. The cleanliness of the city is admirable. Finding a place to eat something consistent (not the a la carte mumbo-jumbo) proved to be a real challenge, we had to drive to the nearby city of Baltchik one night just for that.

Regarding the resort, I was totally disappointed with the quality of services, which has decreased dramatically in the last 2 years. The beach is dirty, full of cigarette leftovers, plastic glasses thrown everywhere by the tourists and nobody collect this garbage all day long. The Balta reservation became pedestrian and was closed for any type of vehicle, including bicycles and became a real trash bin. I think the municipality does not have enough staff for cleaning and according to this, all the inconveniences that come along.

A lot has happened in Albena over the last 9 years since we last visited. The resort is very clean with a lot of opportunities of fun for children. Very quiet and family friendly in comparison to Golden Sands, for example.
The beaches are not very crowded, it is altogether the ideal place for a very relaxing and resting vacation.

This is a great place for young families, Some places in Bulgaria are overrun with mafia wannabe's , but not here, and there is so much for kids of all ages to do. I will be coming back here with my daughter for years to come.
The host was amazing - she made sure all of our needs were met and offered great advice on beaches, restaurants, etc. The views from all the rooms were beautiful and the free access to one of the best beaches in the area was a big convenience. One note if you have small children you might have to drive through the resort because there are stairs to and from the beach. The location was very close to Balchik, which offers unique attractions and an hour or two away from many other places worth visiting.
I liked that you have everything right on the premises or very near. 7 min walk from the beach. The multitude of outdoor pools was great as it gave people with and without kids options. The pool for kids was the best Ive seen. The room was very spacious, and the single bed in addition to the queen one came quite in handy. It is a huge hotel so prepare to walk a bit to get to the elevators. The spa facilities were my absolute favorite, with the spa treatments getting a 5/5 from me.
We arrived around 2 hours earlier before checkin but they were nice to give us the room keys in advance (we are a big family so we booked 2 rooms).
Being in vacation with a baby we started cleaning and dissinfecting the rooms, but the surprise was that the rooms were already very clean (huge plus for them).
The location is exceptional, right in the middle of the resort, but isn't crowded or noisy, with lots of green areas, is just perfect.
+ really kind, nice, helpfull staff. Thank you for your help and voluntar availability!
+ nice room, suitable for families of 3-4; We've enjoyed a 4th floor room with nice sea view;
+ nice pool;
+ free access to the hotel sea beach, included seabed and sun umbrella. We've missed the availabilty of blankets for beach beds;
+ nice restaurant with terace and suitable, diverse offers;
I've booked two rooms for my family and another group of friends. One had sea view, mine didn't. So the front desk lady gave us a free upgrade to an imense apartment. It was a real treat.
Other than that, everything was just great. The location of the hotel, it's quiet, it's on the beach, close to the aquapark. They also offer a large variety of dishes. Really enjoyed my time
Incredible as usual. Was the forth year we have visited this hotel and this time we had a room with private poll that was amazing. I'm usually expecting to see a decrease in quality after hotel opening but is not the case with this hotel. Every 5 star hotel I'm visiting on beach side I always compare it with this one and till now nothing was even close.
The room was awesome. We had everything we needed for a cozy holiday. I think it's worth mentioning: the room size, the hotel offered an extra bed for our little daughter (besides the extra couch we had), 2 bathrooms, balcony, kid activities within the hotel resort, pool area is awesome, the resort market, the hotel location.
We were delighted ti see the large and confortabile rooms with a large seaside panorama. The meal was pretty good. I personally enjoyed the yogurt and fruits with natural taste, also de initiative to welcome us with a fruit tray in the rooms. We had delightful 8 days at Nona hotel in Albena. We plan to return next year.
The hotel is in a great location not far from the centre and on the beach front. The room we had overlooked the sea and the swimming pool which was great, all the staff at the hotel were friendly and everywhere was clean, the cleaners were lovely and came in and cleaned our room everyday.
It's fine. Just don't go to eat at the restaurant they have, it's daylight robbery, go to the other 2 hotels that are in the same complex and pay for a day off all inclusive. It's way cheaper and you get a huge variety of food and unlimited drinks
Perfect stay!
Very clean and modern hotel. The staff is really polite and always ready to help. Pools are clean and not crowded. Plenty of delicious food every day. And we could enjoy great sea view from our bed.
It was great vacation.
1. The location is perfect, on the beach and next to the restaurants, the rooms were nice, recently renovated.
2. I would like to thank the manager of the hotel as she tried her best regarding ours and other people's complaints.
Very nice location ,on the beach, the forest behind the hotel. Nice swimming pool. Food was good and plenty. Sun beds and private beach acces is nice. The rooms have a big bed and a sofa. Also big balconies and AC.
+ Indoor pool
+ Staff ok generally speaking but not on a 4* hotel level. Bartenders from lobby deserve a raise for great attitude.
+ decent meals, you can find something to eat
+ clean
