We are huge nature and camping fans and loved the idea of being remotely located in the middle of wildlife. We emailed the property through booking.com app to inquire if the unit was actually elevated into the tree tops. You can actually stay in treehouses in Australia and they are elevated into the trees or sometimes even built into the tree itself. This way you have better chances of encounters with beautiful birds. They emphatically responded that we are Definitely elevated in the trees. They also said no air conditioning is needed. We arrived and there was less wildlife here then any other regular hotel we stayed in Australia. We were definitely not elevated in the trees. In fact the trees in front were all cleared and the only tree tops were way above us. Possibly because they have dogs, we rarely saw any birds at all. We were at their mercy because you pretty much have to get a long ride up the mountain from them because any car would struggle so we had to make sure we could get that ride back since we were in the middle of nowhere and had no place we could possibly stay or go if we upset the owners. We asked about the tree top issue considering perhaps they had a different unit and we were accidentally put in the wrong one.they said no there are no units at all that are elevated and did not seem to remember that I had proof they had originally said otherwise. We had to accept whatever they said. The largest issues are that the listing itself says very clearly that there is a private walk in shower attached, a washing machine attached, a king and twin size bed, and mosquito nets. They message you immediately upon booking and also before your stay with a bunch of information primarily about how to get there and to coordinate a ride with them. Bear in mind they are on the border of a time change so for those that are not familiar with austrailia, that time change wound up putting us behind schedule on arrival.

    Absolutely stunning view .

Absolutely stunning view . Well worth the trip for that alone. Very relaxing holiday and comfy beds. Would recommend fly screens be installed on windows and more clearer instructions for finding the car park. Highly recommend this place if you are a nature lover and like life a little off grid. Great trip and definitely worth a visit.
