The breakfast was excellent and cooked to your requirements in a lovely setting. There was a spare fridge where you could store your food and you were welcome to eat in the kitchen if required.
Sale is a lovely Country Town, plenty to see and do.

We found the people of Sale a little strange? Not many say hello and im big on that. The Irish pub had good dinners but all male waiters which we found unusual. The sporting Legends was really good and is much more up market. The Rose fish n chip shop was excellent. Beer was good and cold everywhere.

We enjoyed our visit here- were lucky enough to see the swinging bridge in action, wandered around the Botanic gardens and the Port of Sale. The art gallery had some interesting displays and the information office was helpful. Enjoyed a nice meal at the historic Criterion Hotel. If we had longer we could have done a day trip to Yarram to see the murals.

Sale has a small river port at southern end of town centre where there is also, what appears to be, a new theatre. Plenty of varieties of eateries and some good pubs. A bustling country town which is alive. Has a botanical gardens and most things are within walking distance.

Love the city of Sale, not a lot to do but still a lovely place to visit and relax. Some cute bakeries and local cafes/businesses. Great for a weekend trip or a mid week trip, probably more so without kids.
We had dinner at Sporting Legends, surprisingly not super busy for a Saturday night. The the Central Bakery was absolutely delicious for our lunches on both Saturday and Sunday.
Most businesses are open both days of the weekend as well, so you have some variety on food and shopping, plus there is also Aldi, Woolworths and Coles for shopping as well.
Really such a relaxing and inviting place.
This accommodation was an apartment in an old restored stables as an annexe to the main house-an old historic house set in beautiful gardens. We were met by Gavin the caretaker, who was most friendly and made sure all of our needs were met.
The apartment was spacious with some lovely antique furniture in the living area and a lovely decanter holding port for an evening tipple.
Being off the main road the venue was quiet with surrounding country side but with easy access to Sale sights and shopping.
The location of the hotel just 5 mins from the town of Sale was excellent for me as I was driving my own car. if you don't have a car it would be too out of town for ease.
The staff were lovely, very helpful and the room was very good value for the price.
The bathroom was lovely, recently renovated with a nice big shower. Lovely to have toiletries and a a very powerful hairdryer too.
Lovely outdoor garden area with pool that would be good for summer.
The staff were exceptional and made us feel very comfortable. Also when we were dining in the hotel, we had a fantastic experience with the staff and the food was outstanding as I am not easily pleased at restaurants and I was extremely happy with both the food and the service. The ceilings in the room were 12 feet high, and you really do feel like you’re staying at a castle with a lot of history absolutely loved it. Highly recommend it
Exceptionally run accommodation in Sale. Would definitely stay here again. Very clever concept of making a two bedroom townhouse two separate rooms; one named as the studio and the other as a townhouse with the kitchen. The studio also contained a kitchenette for making coffee. Affiliation with the local gym (although we didn't use the gym). Very friendly receptionist allowing early check in.
The accommodation in 'The Stables' was located on a 2 acre historic property where you could wander and enjoy the heritage gardens and ambiance of the 1860's. Our accommodation was very comfortable, the furnishings a mixture of modern comforts and quality antique furniture. A delightful place to visit.
A great stay location in Sale. Walking distance to CBD and a lovely stroll to and around Lake Guthridge and Lake Guyatt.
Our room was very well appointed and spotlessly presented.
Bed very comfortable and a great shower!
They were very accommodating, very clean room. Adequate facilities for an overnight stay. Self check in was convenient. The room was very stylishly decorated. The location was excellent. We will stay here again.
The place was immaculate and family friendly. Big shout out to the cleaners, they do such an amazing job 👏 and front desk with their friendly service. Highly recommend this place. Would definitely stay again
Parking was free. The Shower was good. Check-in was organized over the phone which was a plus, as the hotel was actually closed which was not advertised.
Okay for the price and for one night.
