It was a beautiful quiet small town! Really enjoyed renting bikes ($14 for the day) & making our way around the beautiful lake! We also took the cable car up to Zwolferhorn, wonderful views & hikes!

Absolutely stunning nature. Great restaurants. Great biking , hiking, boating. We visited on the shoulder season. I think it might be quite crowded in tourist season. However, we had to deal with spring rains.

Absolutely a great place to stay with welcoming host’s that a very lovely family orientated that if you need advice help nothing is to much trouble. Rooms are lovely with balcony and views to wow you. Ifs a very comfortable bed best night sleep I have had in ages the whole place is amazing extremely clean in fact I go to say not a bit of dust or mould to be seen. It’s not far from shops bank and the lake and lots to do there, the breakfast is lovely and a wide range of choices and juice and the biggest selection of tea I have see. Definitely top of any places I have stayed the friendliest and cleanest I will definitely be back and definitely recommend without hesitation thanks for making me feel welcome

We had no lake view but the lake was a minute walk and the center of town was also very close. There is also easy parking. I wanted to show my wife Salzburg but the accomodation there was double the price. We decided to stay here and take bus to Salzburg. But St Gilgen and the neighbooring villages (linked by cruise boat) are less crowdy, more beautiful with fewer tourists. Halstatt is also 30 minutes from there

A big sleeping room with a sofa. Two bathrooms with shower. A separate kitchen which is really spacious.. No need to look for a different place, you wont regret to stay here. If you have car, Sankt Gilgen is a good location to go other lakes and places. there's outdoor activities possibilities nearby. Quite and nice beaches with facilities are very close.

Our room was very clean and the Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. A small refrigerator was provided in the room and we were given a fan upon request to help cool the room since we could not keep the balcony door/windows open due to smokers in the room next to us constantly smoking on their balcony. The breakfast was also very good.

Location is perfect in a charming little town of Sankt Gilgen. The room was beautiful, clean with balcony and flowers. Giving thanks to very nice owners, their hearts are in doing the best for their guests. This accomodation is highly recommended and hope to come back again.
