Set on a 6 acre valley of NZ bush, forest and orchard, Quirky Woods - Glamping Cabins at Maketu in Maketu offers 3 private cabins, barbecue facilities and a garden. We needed a night off from reality and chose to stay at Quirky Woods. Beautiful, quiet place to stay. Lovely ameneties, Charlotte was amazing, great communication even when we had a little change in plans (I really appreciate your patience and understanding Charlotte), clean tidy cabin, bed was sooo comfortable!!! Loved our stay.

Lovely hosts, they helped check us in & made sure we had everything we needed, good value for money, great location, only a short walk to Pāpāmoa beach, close to the local dairy, playground, supermarket, petrol station and shopping malls, the yard is nice and private, fully fenced, bbq, outdoor table & umbrella, good neighbours, safe neighbourhood, the bach is cosy, the decor is absolutely beautiful, the place has everything you need ie books to read, boardgames, wifi, tv with Netflix etc, air con & heat pump, plenty of bedding, towels, toiletries, bath & shower, washing machine & dryer, fully equipped kitchen, oven & cooktop, microwave, the place was clean, comfy beds. The kids absolutely loved it. We highly recommend the place to families or a small group of friends.

Situated on the outskirts of Tauranga, Baybell Lodge is only 13 minutes' drive to the centre of Tauranga city. Free private parking and free WiFi is available on site. The lodge is clean, quiet, and roomy. The location is perfect for our visits to Hobbiton and Mt. Maunganui. Brendon and his family are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the area.
