The warm welcome, the tolerance and kindness of the owners and the exceptionnal clean. Lovely little cottage! Cozy livingroom and a great kitchen! The only issue is the cottage’s proximity to the main house on the property so not a strong sense of privacy. The family dogs were a joy to play with and great entertainment. It’s located in a rural area outside of Dunmore and is very peaceful.

Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, beautiful views. Everything was done to a very high standard, The bed was the comfiest we've ever slept in, had a great night's sleep. Hot tub was fab. We had an amazing stay at the beautiful Hazel Hut. The location was magical, with Croagh Patrick in full view through the windows of the hut every morning. The sheep and donkeys really added to the country atmosphere too :) The hut itself is gorgeous and has everything you could need or want. We spent one of our evenings enjoying the landscape, drinking tea and reading some books left in the hut. It is only a twenty minute drive from Westport, so we also enjoyed heading into town for dinner. The next morning, we set off to climb the mountains. Would highly recommend it, and we are already looking forward to paying another visit soon. Thank you so much x

The location was perfect. Sea on one side mountains on other. Close to Westport, next to Croagh Patrick and near to Wild Atlantic way, Knock, and Connemara /Galway. Comfy beds and duvets. Well equipped kitchen and living room etc

Cong Getaway Lodge is set in Cong 3.5 km from Ashford Castle and offers free bikes, a garden and a terrace. A smashing property in a beautiful location. Deirdre is a wonderful host, friendly, kind and thoughtful. I can’t wait to return and next time for longer. Lovely personal touches like food for breakfast and delicious chocolate brownies. An exceptional place to stay.

The house was absolutely spotless and modern, the host was great with communication and left us a lovely welcome basket on our arrival. The space is perfect for a large group of friends and it had everything we needed. We will 100% be booking again.

It felt like home to us after a day sightseeing. The owners were friendly and wonderful and gave us some good tips. There were also gorgeous views from the cottage.
